POKAWA Poké bowls — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

I respect the time and effort of the staff for making this meal, but I haven’t ate such disappointing food for very long time. I find it a great pity.

Rice was freezing cold and soggy, the fried chicken doesn’t taste like chicken and soggy as well. The mushroom in the noodle was crazy sour, the noodle soup was made from instant powder, noodle tastes even worse than the instant noodle. The dessert chocolate moelleux was mediocre, that’s the only thing we could finish. We don’t like waste food, but it was torturing to put the poke bowl into our month.

I’ve tried other poke bowl places near this region, nothing was like this disappointing . This restaurant definitely has a lot of improvement points if it wants to...

I've had much better poke bowls with very similar ingredients elsewhere. No idea why they didn't "click" here, but... they didn't. The staff is nice, but their taste in music was terrible (at least it was not loud, I didn't withdraw any star for that 😊 anyway). Worst thing though was the air conditioning: I normally like cold temperatures, but here it just blew all in one place, making it a terrible place to be at. Amazing place. So much good to say. First, it's cosy and really pretty. It feels great just stepping in. You can also eat on the elevated terrace with a beautiful view on the city if weather allows it. Second, the food is nice. You can make your own mix and be picky to your heart's desire, or go with premade choices. The serving machine is designed to make the process easy.
