Two of our party were vegetarian and they were super satisfied. There is a veggie and vegan burger, and two options of types of patties for the vegetarians too (beyond burger type and a mixed veg). We had different patty options and both were delicious! The other person in our party had a Chicken and Bacon burger - he said it was tender and juicy yet crispy. The peppercorn sauce was a great addition (we aren't a fan of mayonnaise so we swapped out the 'Huggys Sauce' for peppercorn. We also had the dirty fries, the melted cheddar cheese was so tasty! The service was top notch, great for tourists as well as there is an English menu and the wait staff speak perfect English. They are happy to accommodate substitutes and serve you with a smile. If we have time, we'll definitely come back. We went for lunch and was seated almost immediately, but as the venue is quite small, I imagine it probably is busier in the evening, so...
Read moreTumbled upon this place when looking for something to eat on our last evening in Brussels and so glad we did. It did not disappoint.
🍔: They have a massive selection of burgers… hard to choose! However, they included a flow chart to help you decide which I thought was both funny and throughtful. The burgers tasted amazing, a lot better than a lot of joints I have been to in the US and Canada. They also have house beers accorded to each burger which is super nice. My only complaint was that the fries were a but dry, but nothing major really.
💪: The waiters were super friendly and joking with us. They also gave thoughtful recommendations to us on the menu. Overall, great impression.
😎: The vibe is “laid-back sports bar”. We weren’t on a night with a lot of activity, but the place doesn’t seem particularly loud and is super casual.
Overall, this will be a stop in my next trip...
Read moreFollowing recommendation of my friend who was raving about the burgers at Huggys I decided to step in today for a lunch with my fiancé and, as French say, pas terrible... burgers (Magic Tom and BBQ) were definitely too saucy as per our taste, quite overpriced as they go with fries and sauerkraut (that is advertised as Coleslaw, but it's not) in all-you-can-eat option but honestly it's nearly impossible to take second-helping of fries and sauerkraut after base meal. I'd rather have an option to buy a burger with all-you-can-eat or not and reduce the price a bit. Also, menu cards are quite messy - you're getting at least 4 of them with 2 table stands for starters ^^ an opportunity to simplify.
In a nutshell, not bad but there are better burger spots...
