Visited the resto first time after looking for a fish restaurant for a surprise celebration close to Flagey. I pre-aligned everything with them, brought the gift half day early, shared a favourite song to be played at the end of the dinner when they also bring the gift with the dessert. Everything worked out perfect, they precisely followed all my requests for the surprise, so clearly five star for the service. The food is very good too, fresh, tasty and creative. The price you decide for yourself if it fits your budget. I did not like the chairs though, they are a bit low and lying back, which brings you far from your companion, so I ended up not using the back rest. I also very much enjoyed that the kitchen is open, so you can be a little bit part of the preparation and 100% sure the resto is clean and tidy. The resto can get easily full, so better to book in advance, which was also very easy via google maps. If there is no free table, you can also eat at the "bar" on high chairs. Overall very...

Lovely restaurant with fresh seafood - reservation is nice to have but we just walked in and got a place at the counter.

The staff is super friendly, giving feedback on the amount of dishes that you want to order; for 2 persons we took 3 appetizers and 2 main courses to share.

Entrance/ appetizers:

1. Calamari fruti (9.5/10) one of the best I had so far, clearly fresh ingredients fried in clean oil. Nice and light appetizer.
2. tartare (8.5/10) super light and fresh, would recommend to also order some bread with it
3. calamari de chorizo (8/10) really good and a surprisingly new way of combing tastes which was cool; heads up a little bit spicy

Main dishes: 4) brioche de merlu: (8.5/10) nice warm bun, good quality of fish. 5) lobster rolls (9.2/10): cold lobster on a nice bun, lots of flavour and good structure/ crunch - highly recommended to taste/ share with 2.

Would definitely recommend the restaurant, first visit but...

A really bad dining experience. We ordered St Pierre fillet with beurre blanc sauce. The fish was terribly cooked: curled up and raw. Cooked by someone who didn’t know how to cook it (you score the skin and initially press down). The sauce was split. Even if it had been well prepared, it was a small and very basic (two chicon accompanied) dish for the price (€28). But what was worse was that when I quietly drew the attention of the main waitress to the fact the fish was raw, she got immediately angry and started shouting. My mistake was that I tried to eat one of the fillets and, only after realising the second was totally raw, sought to raise the matter. Our plates arrived ten minutes after our dinner partners, so it was far too late to do anything at that stage. Some of the other food was ok but what a terrible experience. My worst restaurant experience of 2024...
