I was very impressed by Ricciocapriccio. The quality of the menu is superb, the seafood is incredibly tasty - so incredibly well sourced, you will almost forget you are in Brussels and think for a half-hour you are enjoying a delightful plate of pasta the Italian coast. The pasta we ordered was cooked to perfection (which, sadly enough, is not as common as you may think across italian restaurants...). We have also had the grilled opctopus, which was heavently savoury and not-gummy. The cherry-on-top was the friendliness of the staff on the entire customer journey, from describing every dish, to changing the time of our reservation to the last minute, to squeezing in a birthday candle. But the best part? The food! Oh my, it was delicious. Every dish tasted like it was made with love. From the seafood to the pasta, each bite was so good. You could tell they used fresh ingredients and cared a lot about how the food looked and tasted.

The newly updated menu which we got to try on this visit features a beautiful range of dishes rooted in Italian cuisine, with a creative and experimental touch that adds a touch of surprise, but most certainly delivers. Each plate was delicious and visually beautiful. You begin enjoying the meal with your eyes before taking a bite.
One area for improvement is the non-alcoholic drinks menu, which could go beyond basic water and soft drinks, there are many options these days.
Overall, a refined and imaginative take on Italian dining, made even better by...
