CHEZWaWa — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

Tasty food but the delivery experience with Deliveroo is pretty terrible. My recommendation is to go on site and enjoy your meal, but don't bother with delivery as the three orders we've placed over the last year all arrived cold and with errors.

The first order we went with combos and ordered drinks (coloured water, really) which had leaked all over everything making a cold soggy mess. We'll never order delivery with drinks again.

The second order went well, but the burritos were cold and we were missing some elements. Some ingredients in the burritos were incorrect, and didn't even match the docket on the side of the Deliveroo bag.

The third order tonight has gone the same way - we received extra guacamole and corn chips but again the burritos had wrong ingredients (pork instead of chicken, for example, and one of them was so wrong it was clearly for someone else)... and they arrived cold.

While the flavours are there, the accuracy isn't, and delivery is unfortunately just not an option for these guys. Go on site and have...

Honestly, this is the only place in all of Brussels to find decent "Mexican" food - I would know, I have tried them all! (The quotes are because it is obviously American influenced, which is what they advertise. 😊) I grew up in Belgium and always missed good Mexican food. After living in California, I was in withdrawal when I came back and was so excited to find this place! The food is really fresh, everything tastes homemade in a way that doesn't leave you feeling junky and too stuffed afterward. The restaurant is really cute if you want to dine in. I've also ordered on Deliveroo several times and never had a problem (as another review stated). Deliveroo is responsible after the food has been handed over, so I can say that service has always been quick and polite for me....

La grande arnaque: once upon a time in Brussels the biggest ripoff in Brussels's restaurant scene. How people have the audacity to serve this microwaved cafeteria food is beyond me. 34 euro for 2 burritos and 2 normal drinks! Why? Instead of taking beautiful pictures, they should invest their time in actually serving fresh food! Don't expect that they will clean the tables for the small fortune you'll be paying, any stickier and I was forever glued to the table! And please stop with all the signs, everywhere you look: Wait here, wait there, at one point you don't know what you can do...A useless, snobbery place that will soon be out of business once people come to...
