ROXI Bar — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

ROXI bar offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The upbeat music creates a pleasant backdrop, while the simple decor provides a relaxed vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although English wasn't their primary language. Despite the language barrier, they were patient and accommodating.

I enjoyed the Sunny Roxi mocktail – a delicious mix of sweet, tangy, and refreshing flavors. The Roxi Cesar salad was a delightful twist on the classic, featuring bite-sized pieces for easy eating. Wandering Brussels side streets and taking a chance on where to eat (sensibly, of course, there are three other restaurants on the corners of this intersection), it is a relief and a delight to find a place like this. It had a rating of 3.6 which doesn't make sense unless a fellow traveller had a really bad experience and averaged the rating down. The first floor of the place is nice to sit at, but the second one isn't. Chairs are uncomfortable, tables were very dirty, and we received zero attention. We waited close to an hour to be served after having to chase the person working a couple of time, then we also had to wait a very long time to receive the bill and in the end they couldn't split it. The crowd also sitting upstairs was very loud, and so was the music which made it very difficult to talk and not very cosy to sit in and hanged out.
