TADAO Poke Bar - Ixelles — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

I dined in TADAO Pole Bar several times and I was always very content with the food choices, the atmosphere, and the staff. I got to know this place as I was looking for a catering service for around 75 people, for a very important event in my life. The owner, Mr. Cédric, took time to sit down with me a few weeks prior to my event and discuss my catering needs and requirements. Together, we came up with a plan and we selected the poke bowls from a variety of sizes and types available. Mr. Cédric made his utmost best to cater for my needs and stay within the limits of the budget available. As discussed, the delivery was precisely on time and with nice aesthetics. The poke bowls were carefully delivered in cooling boxes to maintain their freshness. By the end of the event, all the food was gone. We had an overall good experience. The shrimp was absolutely delicious. The employees were friendly, which made the process enjoyable. I also loved how many options there were for personalizing my meal.

However, there are a couple of things that could be improved. I would have liked a bit more sauce; the dish felt a little dry in some bites. Additionally, the radish pieces were quite large—I think cutting them into smaller pieces would improve the balance of the dish.

Looked like a great place but got food poisoning. We visited the place yesterday, on Saturday 28.06 and my partner and I both had Hangover bowls and my mom had a Sushi bowl. 2h later both my partner and I started having food poisoning symptoms. It still continues today. We didn’t have any other meal after we ate at Tadao.

Bowls were super delicious but perhaps the storage of certain products is not on point? Maybe the eggs? (My mom was totally fine after her Sushi bowl, so we assume it’s not fish or rice or other common ingredients).
