Barouche Leuven — Restaurant in Leuven

The food was okay though slightly too much sauce in the pitas. The staff is unfriendly and it seems as if they don’t even want to be there in the first place. We arrive asking questions and they immediately sent us to place an order on the digital kiosk. Because of this we accidentally ordered food that wasn’t vegan and there was nothing we could do about it so we had to order another pita. The black girl was extremely unfriendly. (Not being racist, didn’t get a chance to ask for her name). When questioned about which pita we ordered she started raising her voice as if I was implying that she made a mistake. It was our mistake but it wouldn’t have happened if they would have been friendlier and explain us about the meals and the options first instead of sending us straight to the digital ordering machine.

Very bad experience

Super rude waitresses. The tables were super dirty so we didn’t settle down. We waited for 5-7 minutes and only after two reminders did they clean it angrily.

I ordered food and clearly mentioned I’m pregnant and don’t want veggies in my pita. But they got me a pita with veggies. Horrible !!!

I didn’t bother retuning the plate as it took them 1 hr to serve me the pita. My partner ate it instead.

Food took a good 1 hr to be served and all the people who arrived after us , got their food before us and of course left before us.

Place was so dirty. Not only the tables but we were actually stepping on food and sitting.

This place should offer proper training to their servers. Definitely...

I had such an amazing experience with the people at the restaurant. I had ordered a meal with Uber eats but it never came and we went to the restaurant to ask what happened. The restaurant closes at 10 PM and we reached at 10:15 PM, and at the most were expecting a closed sign. But our experience was completely different. They were almost closing up, but still managed to give attention to our problem. And although it was not their mistake that food didn't deliver, they so kindly offered to prepare food for us again. Thanks a lot for such customer focused care and high generosity.
