Chen's Restaurant Kessel-Lo 寻味坊 — Restaurant in Leuven

I wanted to book a table for ten. The owner told me they only have big table on the second floor and the minimum charge on the second floor is 280 euro. And I must pay with cash otherwise I pay 10% extra. What is wrong with you? Does the Belgian tax bureau know about this?

Reply to the owner: I of course don’t mind to sit on the first floor but I was told there are no table that is big enough for ten people and the second floor is the only choice! In other words, big groups are not welcome unless they spend more than 280 euro or pay extra service fee! Can you give me the names of any other restaurants in Leuven having the same funny rule?

BTW, how about the cash only rule: 10% extra fee if I want to pay with card? How can you explain this? I pay cash so that you don’t...

I ordered eggplant with XO sauce and Sichuan style (hot) beef. And popcorn chicken + sweet & sour chicken for the kids. It was our very best Chinese meal experience ever. Everything so tasteful and feels like original Chinese cooking. Even my young kids told me "Papa, this is pure masterclass" 😀. We really loved it and will become regular clients for sure. This is definitely real Chinese food from China!! Wow, this was such a great restaurant. The toilets were clean, they have managed the design and organization of their restaurant, there are private rooms for a lot of people. It's well designed, you can't find any messy things and toilets are from Xiaomi with heated seats and can open it automatically. They have a super restaurant with tiny space and they organized so good 😊👍. I would definitely come back...
