Resto Ribs — Restaurant in Leuven

Went there to have my dinner and even though we have no reservation, was able to get a table outside in the chilly weather. Was asked to be seated, and waited to be attended. After more than five minutes, another group just arrived, and they were immediately attended to. Finally got our menu, but the server rudely remarked (sarcastically) that I was to say “Thank you”. My manners and respect is earned, not given. Very disrespectful and I found that was extremely rude. That remark left a bad aftertaste in my mouth and I left immediately. Found a better place to eat elsewhere. As a tourist, definitely not the Belgian welcome I...

Despite not being a huge fan of meat myself, my friends, who are avid meat lovers, decided to take me there for my birthday. Surprisingly, it turned out to be quite enjoyable 😂

I ordered the BBQ ribs with fries, and I must say, the portion size was substantial and the flavor was delicious. We even had the option to request more ribs with this menu choice, which was a nice touch, although I found myself too full to finish my second round.😅

For those craving a tasty meat-filled evening, this is the place to go. The staff and atmosphere were lively, and it was fun to doodle on the table...

Famous ribs where the first portions are served straight from the kitchen, but next portions are served from the "back room" (note where the waiter comes from). The first portion of ribs was really delicious and juicy, but with the next portions we had to fight to tear out a piece of meat, which ended up leaving a large amount of wasted food on the plate. The place has potential, but our group of 6 unfortunately received the wrong batch of subsequent portions, which confirmed to us that it was not worth it and we will probably not visit this...
