We were checking for a restaurant on Google Maps and we filtered the restaurants that were open. We were excited to visit your restaurant and we walked a long distance for it. We got further from the other alternatives when we were coming to your restaurant. But when we came, we saw that it is close. It was still looking open in google maps. I gave this feedback to the people who told me the restaurant is close. I told them I came by checking google maps and it looks open and it is misleading. Then we went back without eating. My first experience of Iraqi dishes. My main was over cooked, slimy, tasteless lukewarm lamb with yellow rice and a few slices of aubergine and pepper. It was very bland and dull. I was expecting some interesting spicing but none was detected. Dessert was baklava which was very good (but very small). My husband had a different lamb main and his opinion was the same as mine - edible but very dull. He had a kind of cheesecake for dessert. It was such a small piece - about 5cm x 5cm x 1.5cm of soggy sponge topped with bland creamy stuff (definitely not proper cheesecake). Came here to celebrate anniversary dinner with my boyfriend, we had an awesome time here!

I suggest you to reserve before you come, apparently the restaurant was always full for dinner, not sure for lunch tho.

The resto offers many mostly Iraq, Morocco, middle eastern food. The quality of the food was incredible!! The portion was really a lot for me, should have had them for sharing instead tho. The lambs were so tender and tasty, I loved it!

At last, I ordered Turkish coffee to be awake after eating so much. Be careful because the coffee is very strong, and if you have acid issue like me it would cause a prob tho.
