This was an incredibly unique experience. I would recommend it to any of our beach loving friends. Personally I felt 'Secret Beach' as a whole was a little over-rated but you should still go and getting there in a golf cart is not suggest, the ride is long and the roads are awful. That being said there is a water taxi, though it is a bit pricey it would be my suggested option. For me, the other big drawback was the environment, they took what was a beautiful beach and covered it completely with beach chairs and umbrellas. Yes these are nice to have for sure but in my opinion they should not cover every square inch of sand! No sand castles here, there is no where to build one! At pirates, we sat at tables IN THE WATER! It was fun and unique, the wait staff took you order and delivered you food and drinks directly to your table, easy breezy. The service was very good but for me...I thought they were a bit pushy and in your face. We had nachos and they were very good, it was so fun to have the fish swimming all around under your table hoping you would drop something! So yes, I will likely not go back to Secret Beach, but it was experience I will not soon forget, and if you are visiting San Pedro I think it is must...
