If you’re looking for a spot at secrets beach in Belize, don’t stop at the first place, go a little further back and you’ll find Wet and Wild. We loved wet n wild so much we visited 2 days in row and spent the entire day.
Food: The first day we had lobster quesadillas and they were cheesy and delicious, filled with lobster. The next day, we picked our lobster and had grilled garlic lobster with butter, delicious, we should have gotten 2!
Service: From the time we pulled up we were greeted with of rum punch and directed where to park. Our waiter was very attentive, came by every 30 minutes or so to check on us.
Music: The music was great it was a mix of everything.
Drinks: We were drinking rum punches, until I saw someone order a pina colada and had to try! It was delicious and amazing!
Mosquitoes: Please be aware Secrets beach is on an island without electricity, everything is ran by generators, so the beach closes at 6. Make sure you are packed and headed back before dusk, the mosquitos are horrendous and eat you alive! No joke!!
Water: You can walk out for about 200 yards and you’re only waist deep. The water is clear and great for snorkeling. You walk out to the floating bar for drinks and food or grab picnic table nestled in the water
Drive: Depending on the location of your hotel we determine the drive. It took us 25 minutes and stayed at...
Read moreMy family and I stayed in San Pedro for a week. We had heard a lot about Secret Beach and decided to head out there. So glad we did as it was one of the highlights of our trip. We took our rented golf cart out there which takes about 45 mins from the middle of San Pedro. But the trip out was fun. We got to see the north of the Caye and stopped at some great shops.
Secret Beach is totally worth the trip. Beautiful beach with calm waters. Wet N Wild was a great place to spend the day. Despite the name, it’s actually the quietest place we found. The other places hosted music so loud we couldn’t even talk. WNW was actually pretty peaceful. They have picnic tables with shaded covering out in the water so you can sit and enjoy some amazing food and drinks. We had the conch and shrimp ceviche and a some chicken quesadillas that were marvelous. Truly a...
Read moreThe location is very good. Perfect for sunset at evening. Possible to eat in water table and be served there. Food is very good. Price is normal. Drink are very good. I will suggest them to put food mousquito trap or sticker at the main bar because its was crazy how much there was black mosquito, around food and drink. It can be fixed at 80% with good setup. But about mousquito who bite, they come at evening and its not much things can help, only bug repellant or smoke/fire pit. It can be drunk people's who wanna speak but in general they go if you not give them attention. I cannot told its was to much but it good to know. Toilet... That zone is out of the grid so toilet infrastructure is limited. Its camping style.
I recomand to try that place... Biggest thing I see to fix is black mousquito attracted by food but not a...
