Aqua Restaurant Seafood & Steakhouse — Restaurant in San Pedro Town

After being rudely told we would have to wait 45 minutes until they accepted customers, we went elsewhere to have a drink until they opened. When we returned upon opening there were already several tables seated. The hostess was wearing flip flops and very uninterested in doing her job-she was playing games on her phone the entire time we were there. We were sat at the bar (2 of us). The food was VERY good but the service was subpar at best. There were several (about 5) servers and they all were very busy-talking amongst themselves and sampling from the kitchen and trying the evening wine. Good sushi rolls, but took soo long to be served (over an hour from ordering). Didn’t even get offered water upon being seated for over 20 mins. Seemed like an anomaly due to a storm today and the staff was all stressed out but trying their best. The rolls themselves were very tasty and the snapper with fried rice was good too. The food was just ok and nothing truly special. We ordered spicy edamame which wasn’t spicy at all but tasted good. The shrimp dumplings were too firm and had a strange flavor.
