Honestly not sure what the deal is with all the 5 star ratings. This place lacks any type of atmosphere, the dining area is dark and drab, and the owner was less than welcoming. There was nobody else there when we arrived at 5 and no other diners came in during the 45 minutes we were there. That alone should’ve told us to go elsewhere.
As I want all businesses to thrive so hopefully this review will allow her to make improvements.
First. Be more welcoming. No hello, no how is your stay. Nothing. Just a frown. It seemed like you were bothered when I asked if you were open yet.
Second. Atmosphere and furnishings. Play some Mediterranean music. Not loud, just something soft in the background. Maybe some candles on the tables. Create a welcoming place with some plants, pictures - something. The place is completely lacking any type of welcoming atmosphere. No napkins or utensils. Didn’t come out to ask how everything was. Maybe just a bad day?
The food. The hummus was delicious. Fresh, tasty, and just enough pita to scoop up all the deliciousness. I had the lamb pita and my partner had the chicken and garlic pita. My lamb was tasty, as was her chicken. The one thing we both agreed on is what’s Mediterranean food without feta and Tzatziki. These two items definitely should’ve been on both of the pita wraps.
Additionally, how ‘bout a traditional Greek Salad? That would be a standout on the menu.
Drinks. She had Hibiscus Tea and I had a Banana Smoothie. Both were very good.
Pricing. We thought $41 US Dollars was quite expensive for what we got.

Read moreThe food is absolutely amazing if you’re looking for a place that has quality food I would absolutely recommend. Ana was very sweet I can actually get full after eating my meal, and I can taste that the ingredients are fresh. I got the Falafel wrap and it was the best Falafel and hummus I’ve ever had!
Come here with an open mind, Caye Caulker is a small island and not everyone is able to afford to decorate their restaurants to your standards, especially when they’ve recently opened. Ana is the cook, and runs a 1 woman restaurant. She opened this restaurant in February of this year.
I’ve seen someone complain about the pricing but you can’t find a place on the island that uses fresh ingredients charging less than $20 for a plate of food. Everything here is on the higher end. A small piece of feta cheese will run you $10.50 BZD. You want high costing ingredients for a low cast bill.
Of course you’re entitled to having your own opinions, but it doesn’t seem to be much of a problem when you get mediocre tasting food at some lavish high end restaurant or a cafe on the beach side, because the photo you took for instagram came out pretty.
This restaurant has potential and it’s okay to have critiques about it, but don’t be ignorant and entitled. A review can ruin the...
