If you’re on Caye Caulker and hunting for a truly satisfying meal with a sweet ending, Chef Juan’s Kitchen and Pastries is a must. This outdoor, family-owned gem serves up hearty plates and homemade desserts that left me wanting more. 🍋🥧 Key Lime Pie – Let’s start with the star: probably the best key lime pie of my life. Perfectly tart, creamy, and topped with just the right amount of whipped topping—it’s a 10/10 in my book. Do not leave without trying it! 🍛 Shrimp Curry & Chicken Curry – Both were packed with flavor, served with rice and plenty of sauce to soak up every bite. Generous portions made it ideal for a filling lunch or casual dinner. You can really taste the love and homemade care in each dish. 🏡 Ambiance & Service – Outdoor seating, chill vibes, and kind staff made this a relaxing, no-rush spot to enjoy a meal and feel at home. 📊 Overall Rating: 8/10 meal, 10/10 dessert Perfect for lunch or dinner while exploring the island. Support a local family-run spot and treat yourself to that unforgettable key lime pie.

It was just a late afternoon when I was near this place. It was too early for dinner so I just decided to head over for tea and order something simple. They have quite a menu with a lot of main dishes but there was this small section for their signature pastries. All the pastries sounded tempting I asked the staff to recommend me the best and he asked me to try the Perfect Key Lime Merengue Pie. I ordered it and when it was served, I didn't expect the size to be so big. It looked kinda special because there was this dark yellow layer at the base which looks like the lime. True enough it was and I have to say it was really very good. Even the pie itself I didn't imagined it to look like this but was impressed by how good it was and not to judge by its looks. For lime pie lime tart lovers, this is definitely the place you need to stop by and try it for yourself. Recommended.

I am blown away by the favor of the food this place has to offer. We order the steamed whole fish dish, not a dish I typically go for since it's hard to find fresh fish. I gave it a go. Boy, did they deliver. The fish was flavorful and fresh. The tomato sauce they used to pair with the food was perfect. Then we had the stew chicken dish. It was definitely finger licking. We also had the special of the day-sweet and sour shrimp with coconut rice. That was also very good. Now, you all raved about the key lime pie and so I had to try it. It was so good it should be illegal. It was so so so good. I normally don't go for key lime anything but this is out of the world delicious. My friend also decided to order the carrot cake. It was moist and simply felt like I was in heaven. I have no words to describe how wonderful this place is. You just have to go try their food yourself.
