Great service, great food, big portions, cozy atmosphere.

We went on a rainy day to La Trattoria, so scenery was not that important for us as it was raining and it was at night. If you're looking for a place with good scenery this is NOT it although the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere which is amplified by the friendliness of the staff.

We ordered the Gamberetti pizza which was great. The crust was thin and fresh but had a very light and aromatic profile. This was not one of those pizzas that you eat and go into a coma after. We njoyed the pizza with spicy olive oil on the side which made eating the crust a lot more enjoyable.

I ordered the grilled local tuna dish and my wife ordered the orechiette pugliesi. The tuna was very flavorful with strong hints of grilled flavor which I loved. The veggies were crunchy and not overcooked and the potatoes were delicate with crispy skin which I enjoyed very much. My wife's pasta dish had a wide variety of seafood from scallops to shrimp and calamari. All were cooked to perfection. The pasta dish was not very heavy yet was very flavorful. The manager came out a few times to check up on us and was very enthusiastic about the food and about our experience. I could tell that he really cared about the restaurant and the business.

Wonderful find! We were walking down the street contemplating food and a local joined our conversation! So glad there are friendly people here! He suggested this place! It was WONDERFUL! People kind, happy, helpful! There ambiance was just right. Not too stuffy formal or trendy, but just the right combo of everything to be very comfortable-like the food! We ordered the beet salad- awesome starter, then we had the pasta with a cream sauce, chicken, mushrooms, artichokes, and lemon! WOW! We also ordered the chicken parm! Another great dish! Thinly cut, cooked perfectly, so tender, flavorful, and the pasta- al dente!! The texture you can’t get from box pasta! I am writing this the day after, and now I need to go again! Wonderful wait staff. Larger portions and one of the more moderately priced (w.r.t Bermuda prices) meals! We went away happy, very full ready for a long afternoon...

La Trattoria is absolutely amazing! I have Celiac Disease and I don't like to be a pain and request foods out of the norm so I usually stick with a salad or soup at any restaurant. However, while there this past Saturday, I asked for Gluten Free bread for my pollo. As soon as the owner heard of my predicament, they were so accommodating, he never skipped a beat, informing me that my lunch would be made with all necessary products and on a completely different surface by a different chef! I didn't expect this kind of treatment at all. The wait staff were outstanding, fast, and very friendly and the food was heavenly! Both of us truly enjoyed our meals.
