This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The food is fine. Whilst it's not London or Manhattan levels of exquisiteness, it's perfectly ok. What stands out is the service. Whilst the older Italian male waiters can appear a little gruff, the local Bermudian and European ladies took service to another level and delighted us. As with the whole of Bermuda, prices are high. It's the way it is. I think that's why you expect the food to be top notch. I think the wine list is also batting in the wrong league - there are quite a few bottles for hundreds, some even thousands of US dollars. A regular 2019 bottle of Montepulciano was $70 +17% (May 2022) was at the bottom of the range.
One slip up was the dessert trolley. It didn't exist. In actual fact, it's a plastic card menu. And what's worse, there is a fantastic photograph of classic Tiramisu on the front. However is not the same shake hand ( the host the one who let us seat ) as he treat us when we walked in compare to the other than restaurant in Europe or even London England. But I love the the servers, I will give them 5 Stars but for the 1st...
Read moreI truly cannot say enough fabulous things about this restaurant. My husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and not only was it the best meal of our whole vacation, but it was the best meal either of us have had in months! Our server Veronika was an absolute sweetheart. So attentive and kind. I highly recommend ordering the Cacio e Pepe, which is made tableside by the restaurant owner. This dish (we ordered as an appetizer for two) was delicious. We also loved the seafood gnocci— so soft and the seafood so fresh— and the salmon entree. Although restaurants in Bermuda can be a bit pricy, the food here is outstanding. Authentic Italian and made from scratch. I already can’t wait to...
