From arrival we asked for a table next to a window as it is extremely hot in Gaborone. We were placed near a window then asked to move to the back and told the aircon would be switched on, it wasn’t. We sat for a good 7mins with no one helping us, finally wave down the floor manager who seems to have an attitude - you know what, it’s hot, he most probably had a long day, he might be having a bad day. Drinks come, mine is wrong, no problem they change it. All is well. We place orders, wait about 45mins for the food, hubby’s order is wrong. We are looking for our waiter. Nowhere to be found - I get up to go look for him. He takes the food, the manager comes to ask if we placed the correct order we say yes. He leaves, we place an order for a second round of drinks wait 30mins for the drinks and hubby’s food. Ask them to pack the food and cancel the drinks. The waiter disappears, hubby goes to the manager, who says he is coming to help. The waiter brings the takeaway with my drink that I canceled. The service was diabolical! Shocking to be honest. Don’t size up your patrons, do better....

If you are going to fall sick in a restaurant, do so at the Cappuccinos. I was extremely impressed with the quality of training the staff has received for medical emergencies. I had never seen anything like this in many similar and numerous occasions at home and abroad.! Three cheers to management and staff!! It isn't just about food. It's customer care...

Immediately ushered into the restaurant where the blacks sit. I am black. I have noted that whites, for presentation purposes, are always seated outside. Guess to show us blacks as to who is welcome at Cappucinos. Anyways treated quite shabbily the whole evening especially by our waiter Arthur. He always had to be fetched from wherever. He would come, hear what we needed and then he would send someone else to deliver as if we were not worth the effort. The food was well presented but not tasty except for the Melva Pudding. My husband tipped at the end of it all which I thought was a...
