2nd EDIT: Came back with friends and had the best time, service was 15/10, food was 15/10 and I can now confidently recommend this place to everyone ❤️ thank you NOSSO team 🙏
EDIT: I didn’t have a chance to even complain, the manager came by himself and apologised and they didn’t let me pay for anything! Honestly, this changed the whole experience to better and the fact they acknowledged the issue by themself and took the time to come to me and rectify it means the world to me. I have to also say, the food was really good and I will come back on another day to give them another chance ❤️ thank you to the manager and hostess!!
I regret coming to this place!!!! Food isn’t bad (I’ve had the starter so far, still waiting for my main) but the service is awful. I arrived at 9:15, waited at the bar for a table (that’s not a problem at all), when I got a table, I made my order right away (that was at 10) my beef tartar arrived at 11:10 with the main, I sent the main back as I wanted to first enjoy my tartar, but I ate it so quickly cus I was stressed the main will get cold - big mistake, it’s been now another 40 mins since they took my starter away and I’m STILL waiting for my main. They completely ruined my Saturday night and running late for everything I have planned after now. Literally came here for a lovely, solo and cute dinner and all I got is over 2,5 hours wait to even eat (or more since the main still didn’t arrive) the server pretended he doesn’t speak English suddenly when I tried to complain (he’s been speaking English with other tables around me with no issue and when I made my order first) and has been ignoring my table all the time!! The first server I had at the bar was lovely but that doesn’t save this experience, not even a bit! I never post negative reviews but this was so awful (and still is) of an experience and would not recommend this place whatsoever (FYI they are not very busy in case they will try to claim so). Still waiting and will update as soon as I get my main (if I...
Read moreWhere to begin, we made a reservation at Nosso for 7:30pm, and we arrived at 7:40 which I know is wrong, however most restaurants have a 15 min grace period. When we got there, the server said that we couldn’t sit at a regular table, and could only be seated on high tops, because we were supposed to confirm our reservation one hour an a half before, the reservation time, which I never heard of that - reservation it’s reservation. My grandmother has an issue with her leg, and that’s what caused our delay and she is unable to seat on high tops - because we were dumb we decided to stay and sat at the bar. At that point I wasn’t excited about eating in there neither about the experience, I usually go to Michelin restaurants and the highlight it’s always the service, which we didn’t get at NOSSO.
Since we were already seated at the bar, I tried to order and get out as soon as possible, as I didn’t like the idea of spending money in a place that lacks service.
The food came, we ordered the chicken, the guioza, the fish with pupunha, and the pasta with shrimp, wine and a few drinks - the food was amazing, however what made us stay and change the perception about the restaurant it was Sofia, I have never met such a kind person before, so professional, willing to explain every single drink, paying extra attention to my grandmother, going above and Beyond. If it wasn’t for Sofia I would give NOSSO a 1 star.
I hope Sofia is being recognized by the company, because seeing her attention to detail made very happy.
I come from hospitality business and she is the peak of this restaurant- all the rest are mediocre.
We were excited about the culinary and it was such a...

🥤My favorite cocktail was this clarified cachaça and dendê oil drink that had bright bitters on top, giving a subtle nuttiness and sour to balance the sweetness.
🍸 And then there was the espresso martini—perfectly creamy with this thick foam that was so clean and smooth.
🥚 The food surprised me. I ordered the 63° egg, expecting some kind of fancy deviled egg, but it turned out to be this rich, cheesy masterpiece. It was layered with truffled mushroom foam, gruyere crumbles, egg yolk, and shiitake mushrooms—a little bowl of comfort and indulgence. My only critique would be to offer bread or something to cut the richness.
🐙 Then we had the glazed octopus fried rice, which honestly felt more like a teriyaki risotto with how creamy and rich it was. The octopus was perfectly tender, and the bean sprouts added a bit of crunch and freshness to keep it balanced.
Nosso is definitely one of those spots where the drinks and food are an experience all on their own. Can’t wait...
