Ok Gastrobar — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

We was searching for a good looking restaurant on the boulevard of Copacabana. While we stumbled om OK Gastrobar. The prices was decent and it was looking beautiful. Unfornutely I have some bad news.

The drinks are good and the toilet is okay. Unfornutely our food came cold. And we disliked the taste of the picanha. The picanha was over seasoned. And the whole taste of the meat got ruined. I couldn't recognize the taste what was ruining it. While my taste in ingredients are high. Also the meat had very much pieces that was with very much fat and some pieces that couldn't chew. This i really dislike.

Also my girlfriend disliked the meat so that was a shared opinion.

The beans and rice are one of the best I had in brasil. The vinegrete was okay. Also there came literally 2 spoons of vinegrete.

The food was very sad. If it was flaming hot and the meat was better prepared i would have giving it 5 stars. The picanha was around 180 reais. The cocktail was 28 reais.

The cocktail is a gin cocktail and it was very good. They serve coca cola from a can here so thats always a plus point. Because it comes with more gas. Glas bottles are better but a...

This place had decent reviews but was super disappointed. I still feel sick thinking about it. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 with rice and a side of fries. The fries were the nicest part. The seafood was very over cooked and over seasoned. All the food has a weird taste to it was so overpowering, a few of us tasted it and all felt the same about it. It was so salty I wouldn’t have known what I was eating if I didn’t have sight. The lobster was so dry, everything was dry and we had it hot as we only stayed next door. I think they get a lot of business because of location but I could never order from here...

Vou dar 5 estrelas pois o lugar nao eh ruim e nao quero mexer com o ratings do meu bairro maravilhoso, mas o texto fala da minha decepcao.

Moro perto do OK Gastrobar e estava a fim de almocar macarrao, uma vontade de massa, sabe? Parei ali e tinham algumas opcoes no cardapio, Lasanha, espaguete bolognesa, penne a la rabiatta e mais 2 pratos que agora nao lembro... e num preco bom e acessivel tbm, tudo ali na faixa dos 30 reias.

Bom, pedi o penne a la rabiata pq conheco a receita, vem com bacon (ou outra proteina picotadinha) manjericao, e alguns lugares ate colocam azeitona ou pimentoes es sempre eh apimentadinho, o que eu adoro!

Pois bem, eis que chega o prato... que decepcao! cade os complementos?? So to vendo a massa com molho de tomate... mais nada!

Perguntei ao garcom Francisco, muito simpatico e atencioso por sinal, o que constava no penne a la rabiatta da casa e ele com muita sinceridade me respondeu que na verdade era um molho ao sugo apimentado.

Sugiro que esse seja o nome do prato a partir dessa critica "PENNE AO SUGO APIMENTADO" nao me levem a mal, estava uma delicia, comi tudo! mas sabe quando voce esta esperando uma coisa e vem outra bem mais simples que nao era exatamente o que voce queria?.. foi assim.

Voltaria com certeza o cardapio eh bom, precos legais e tem muitos rinks pra experimentar, fora a vista da praia ne, que mesmo eu morando aqui nunca me canso dela
