If I could give zero stars I would. The room was dirty; the pillow cases had black marks all over them, the floor was sticky, cobwebs all over the lamps ( one lamp did not work) the mattress was terrible! We asked for another room but the hotel was packed. When we showered the water came up from underneath the tiles and soaked everything. There is only one key for the room which is pretty inconvenient when one person wants to go out. The key is also required to make the lights, A/c and tv work in the room. After the second night we told them we wanted a refund for the remainder of our trip and we were leaving.. after hours they changed out out mattress for us. The breakfast was very disappointing. The elevators… kinda scary, very slow, shakes and jumps. One elevator the button was stuck for the lobby, so it didn’t matter what floor you wanted, you would go to that one first. We told the guy at the desk and he basically said “ya, ya we know” but didn’t say anything else. Some staff was very good and friendly but some were very dismissive. We paid a lot of money for this hotel because it was over new years....
Read moreThe hotel staff is extremely unfriendly. They put several small charges on my bill that I did purchase. When I told them I refused to pay the full amount, one of the employees picked up a traffic cone and threatened to hit me with it. He then challenged me to a fight. The same employee held my bag from me and told my Uber driver to leave me. The beds are not very comfortable at all. It is extremely inconvenient that only 1 key is provided to each room and electricity will not work unless you have that key in the room. This makes it difficult to charge electronics during the day. It also makes it difficult to enter your room if you and whomever you are sharing your room with decide to do different things during the day. The complimentary breakfast is very limited with options and most items are substandard. They will not allow you to bring friends back to your room. I travel very frequently all around the world and have never been more dissatisfied with any hotel I have...
Read moreThe bathroom is in need of serious attention, with mold on the walls and peeling wall coverings. It could benefit from a deep clean, as well as upgrades to the cheap toilet seat and the shower head, which needs descaling. Additionally, there’s no ventilation, making the space feel stuffy. On the plus side, the water pressure and temperature were excellent.
The bedroom is spacious with large windows, but the soundproofing is poor. Noise from the street and neighboring rooms, including conversations and TVs, easily filters through.
The elevators are frustratingly slow.
Breakfast was decent but quite basic, with little variation from day to day.
The rooftop pool is small but clean, though there was only one sunbed available.
On a positive note, the staff are friendly, and the hotel’s location is convenient—close to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants.
Overall, I wouldn’t...
