2 question, Gourmet???? And Who are these people giving this place 5 starts I wonder. Some of the common theme of the comments are "reasonable price, fair price" What the hell is wrong with these people with no taste buds. Obviously you are getting what you are paying for. At the time of this review the 550ml was priced for 10.5 reals and it's cheaper then good/better Açaí places yes but there is a reason. The Açaí sold here Rio Açaí "Gourmet" is pre-mixed with syrup and water!! You and your buddy next to you can hear the cracking sounds of ice getting broken in your mouth. This Açaí is crunchy, not creamy or smooth. You are getting a much higher percentage of water/ice for your reasonable price Açaí. I’m on a mission to find really good acai spots all over Rio and I’d say currently this is my favorite one so far! I stay a couple blocks away and always pass by, decided to give it a try today and was pleasantly surprised!
