SOPRATI SUCOS E LANCHES — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

I have a wonderful story about this place and its awesome staff. I stayed in an apartment above this cafe and frequented this place for coffee, acai, smoothies, and other snacks while on a 10-day stay in Rio. I got to know the staff, and they were always friendly, but they proved to be almost-saintlike one afternoon when I had a really scary experience.....upon coming back to the apartment that day, I reached inot my pocket and discovered my wallet was missing (with my cash, ATM card, drivers license, etc.) I didn't know if I had been pick-pocketed or if it had fallen out during one of my excursions. Luckily I had left a back up credit card and my original passport in the apartment, but I was still mortified.

While I started calling my bank in the USA, I got a knock on my apartment door. It was one of the guys from the cafe. He found my wallet on the sidewalk while he was sweeping. It had fallen out of my pocket while sitting at the counter. He asked the building's doorman which apartment was mine, and he brought it up to me (cash and everything). I was ecstatic!!!!! Of course, I gave him every bit of cash I had, and generously tipped the guys working there every time I saw them for the rest of my stay. What wonderful people!

People say Rio is dangerous, and you do need to look out for yourself while there, but this place is proof that many Cariocas are just the best people in the world. BTW, the acai...

We ordered a cheeseburger, a coxinha and an açaí with granola, honey and strawberry. The cheeseburger was tiny, not worth the price nor the time for waiting. The coxinha was okay, maybe it was only reheated in that store. The açaí showed some trace elements of the ordered additionals, which have been charged for 5 Reais each! No taste of honey, only two or three granola grains and pieces of frozen strawberry. Even if the additionals have been mashed in the açaí, the lack of taste wouldn't be explained and mashed granola...

Demorei muito tempo pra avaliar. Dei inúmeras oportunidades, nenhuma foi atendida. Por isso venho manifestar minha indignação, após diversos eventos em diversas ocasiões distintas.

Vamos lá:

1. suco de blueberry com gosto de fruta passada (provavelmente deixaram descongelar algum momento , pegou calor, derreteu, azedou, voltaram a recongelar)

2. torta alemã feita de cremogema (!!!!)

3. esquentam salgado frito ou assado no microondas (deixando salgados que deveriam ser crocantes murchos)

4. Ainda me cobram 7 reais por uma Coca-Cola de 600 mL quente meu Deus!!!!! 7 reais!!!!!!!! Quente!!!!!!

Pior qualidade de produto do universo. De toda a Zona Sul. Nem no subúrbio ou baixada eu tenho experiências tão ruins quanto eu tive nesse big bi.

Cumpre salientar que o atendimento não é ruim. Os atendentes são educados e prestativos, mas a qualidade do produto é mto ruim. Em 5 anos morando no quarteirão fui umas 5 vezes lá. Todas elas tive experiência de qualidade de produto ruim...
