Oh boy… this place is THE BEST PIZZA SPOT IN ALL OF RIO. Atmosphere, foods, service, down too their clean ass bathrooms. The restaurant is super vibey, in the heart of Lapa it’s sits in a rustic area. Super close to the bustling streets. The owner who we were surprised to meet and chat with was a Filipino/Canadian. Someone who was from our own hometown which was a freaking surprise and joy. She was super friendly and if you’re ever there while she’s working don’t be she and chat with her (she speaks English 😆) The food was amazing. Sweet and savoury. Fairly priced. Live music. The whole Sha bang. 5 ✨

Amazing experience, the layout and aesthetics of the place are everything. Gives off an industrial but cozy underground vibe. We had the pizza caprese which was delicious 🤤 combined with a great glass of red whine this was all I needed for the evening. The evening was topped off with a live jazz band which managed to get everyone dancing towards the end of the evening while while sharing a beer together 💃🪩 this was all I wanted for the night 🍷 Ps: I’m definitely returning to try some of their pastas!

I had been walking past this pizzeria for a few weeks and finally went in. the ambiance is stunning and perhaps the best aspect of Zola. my partner and I ordered the "vegetariano". the wood-fired dough is sough, chewy, and flavorful. however, the toppings were underwhelming. this may be their weakest pizza. the raw vegetables, once cooked, released their water. this made the pizza soggy. also, the vegetables were not seasoned or prepped in a way that would bring some uniqueness to the pizza. a slight dehydration of the vegetables and some seasoning would be a worthwhile addition to this pizza.

last, I love a good gin and tonic. the one's here are untraditional. They come in too large a glass, have too much ice, and include sugar. So, if you enjoy a traditional gin and tonic, I would recommend you pass on this one and get a...
