The new Abigail cafe is in a nice spot on rua Guilherme da Silva, with a giant tree out front that makes the outdoor seating area very pleasant and shaded. The architecture is also appealing, giving the place a modern, inviting vibe. Unfortunately, the tables are about 2 inches higher than what’s comfortable for most people, which made sitting for any length of time awkward. The menu is only available digitally, and you have to order and pay at a single counter station. This leads to guaranteed lines, even during non-busy hours, for both ordering and paying. Waiters do bring the food to the table, so make sure you know what is its number, while ordering. Overall, this system feels inefficient and frustrating—I’d strongly suggest the owners revisit it. Despite the hype around their specialty coffees and menu items, everything was just okay. Nothing stood out as exceptional. Overall Impression: Abigail Coffee Company has a good concept with its focus on specialty coffee and nice setting, but the execution falls short in key areas like comfort and service flow. O lugar está muito bonito, mas não sei se está fluido e adaptado pro novo tamanho, o sistema de levantar e ir pedir forma uma fila grande no caixa, isso me desestimulou comer mais por preguiça, se tivesse como fazer o pedido na mesa eu teria experimentado mais coisas. A beleza dos potinhos de café e máquina expostas do antigo lugar se perdeu, pedi duas coisas do cardápio e as duas estavam indisponíveis. O pão que eu comia com salmão não existe mais pois falaram que era trabalhoso de fazer e agora que é maior fica difícil, o pão com cogumelos não tinha. Basicamente a comida salgada era pão com queijo ou pão com ovo. Simples pro lugar e pro valor que é alto até mesmo para quem já está acostumado comer pelo Cambui. Talvez o foco seja manter cafés espaciais e não cardápio de comida, mas o café ficou em segundo plano você mal sabe que existem grãos ou coisas diferentes porque o local de pedir e pagar fica tumultuado , perdeu bastante a beleza e a experiência de ver fazer cafés e tudo mais. O pão que eu pedi estava gostoso mas simplíssimo, fui na hora do almoço esperando mais um brunch mas realmente só dá pra tomar café da manhã/ tarde mesmo pois não tem proteína, tortas nada mais que queijo e ovo pra por no pão.
