Just walked out of this place, and I must say—this was, no doubt, the worst experience I’ve had in São Paulo. Quite an achievement, really.
I genuinely have no idea how this place is still in business. Let’s start with the reception: the hostess clearly skipped the part of her training where they explain what “basic courtesy” is. She didn’t acknowledge anyone in line and only addressed me after slowly calling every single party around me (charming!).
Once inside, things somehow managed to go downhill. Most of the waiters mastered the art of pretending not to see me when I tried to get their attention. Impressive, really.
Eventually, when I was finally acknowledged, everyone around had a menu—except me. Of course. Fortunately, I had the foresight to check their menu online, sparing myself the additional wait for the waiter to feel inspired enough to bring one.
I ordered a toast, a mimosa (yes, I even confirmed they had champagne for it), and a sparkling water. Some time later, a different waiter (even ruder than the hostess, which I didn’t think was possible) brought me the toast… after first delivering it to the wrong table.
I asked about my drinks (you know, because normally drinks come before the food), and was told they would “take a while to prepare.” A mimosa. And sparkling water. Yes, apparently mixing juice with champagne and grabbing a bottle of water is now a complex culinary process.
Ten minutes later, he returned with… an ice tangerine tea. Not a mimosa. Not even close.
So, if rude staff, long waits, incorrect orders, and zero atmosphere are your thing, then this is your spot. There aren't even chairs to wait comfortably while standing in line to be ignored. As for the food? Let’s just say it’s not worth the gamble of hoping they get your order right.
I'm writing this review in English for the benefit of tourists and international visitors passing through São Paulo—do yourself a favor and skip this place entirely. You’re not...
Read moreI love this place!!! It’s one of my favorite spots on Paulista Avenue to have a weekday executive lunch with salads and delicious dishes, or to enjoy a coffee and dessert after lunch.
In the executive menu, the starter is usually a salad or bread with tomato sauce. For the main course, you can choose between amazing quiches, pasta, and other dishes. The dessert is usually incredible as well. The executive menu also includes a drink, often iced mate tea with a flavor like strawberry or tangerine.
My favorite dessert is the banana muffin with chocolate chips… SERIOUSLY, it’s so delicious. If I could, I would eat it every day.
I totally...
Read moreOur worst service experience in Brazil, which led to us walking out due to abysmal service. We were seated immediately but then waited 20 minutes for the opportunity to order. When asking staff to order, we were met with a frankly hostile response and made to wait a further 5 minutes.
We finally ordered two espresso macchiatos. After a further 20 minutes of waiting (a total of 45 minutes wasted for a simple order of two espressos) we opted to walk out rather than give this place any of our money.
My advice: don’t waste your time or money here, you’ll be better served in any of the other friendly...
