We came with my partner and my family for two nights in this hotel.||No hot water the first night or the next morning.||The reception staff, in addition to not seeming to be sorry, turn out to be rather incompetent.||We were first given that morning a replacement room card, room OCCUPIED! What a surprise! Unacceptable at all and very annoying..||We were then given a second replacement room card: room with two separate beds, so we went back downstairs.||We then asked to speak to a manager.||We were very surprised at her incompetence: the latter, while she was certifying that we would finally be given a replacement double room, made us go up a third time to a bad room.||We lost at least 1h15 in the morning when we were in a hurry, entered an occupied room, made 3 round trips and the hotel, to our great astonishment, did not give us ANY commercial gesture: no discount on the price of the room, no free glass on the roof top, no box of biscuits on our return on the 2nd day, we were NOT EVEN OFFERED the two bottles of water consumed in the bar in the room. This is absolutely unacceptable!||||Regarding check-in, if you're unlucky, the receptionist will corner your passport page...||I was disappointed not to have an employee to give us a quick tour of the hotel and visit our room. I work for a 4* hotel in France and we do...||||Housekeeping should be better checked for dust: headboard, frames... (and this for the two rooms we visited)||||The rooms are quite "dated" and deserve to be brought up to date.||||For the positives:||||The location is amazing, just 1 block from Paulista Avenue.||||The breakfast is average. Lots of fruit and fresh fruit juices are welcome, but the food as a whole is not really exceptional.||||The Roof Top is AWESOME! I congratulate the person at the Rooftop reception who, in addition to being more than welcoming to us, gave us a tour of the rooftop explaining everything to us. The place is very beautiful. I’ve traveled extensively as a solo female traveler, but this was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
I arrived late last night, just after midnight, following a long 40-minute trip from the airport. When I approached the reception to check in, I saw rooms available online, so I requested a room. However, the receptionist insisted that there were no rooms available and even suggested I go to another hotel down the street. I asked him to double-check, as the availability was clearly listed on booking sites, but he remained firm in his refusal, offering no real explanation. It felt like he was just unwilling to do his job.
As a solo woman arriving at 1am in São Paulo, I found this response not only unhelpful but unsafe. I checked online again, and the same rooms were listed as available, so I showed him. At this point, he reluctantly checked me in—but not before cursing at me under his breath and acting visibly annoyed.
When I finally got to my room, I was shocked to find it was a single, despite having clearly requested and paid for a double room at $170. I went back to the front desk to request the change, and his response was more rude behavior and cursing in Portuguese. He eventually gave me a new room, though his attitude didn’t improve. His colleague at the desk seemed completely indifferent to the situation.

The front desk spent long time to find out the room was not owned by hotel, but by someone else! What?!, in the hotel highrise building, difference rooms could be owned by different owners?! Even worse, when we enterred the room, we found there were no sheets and blankets on the mattress, no towels in the bath room. We told the front desk the situation, we were told we need to contact the owner directly. Since all we have the contact information was the hotel's phone number, eventually, they agree to let the owner know. We came back to the hotel in the evening, we found there was still a sheet missing. We contact the front desk again. They insisted us to contact the owner directly. We ask they provide the owner contact number, or bowrrow a sheet from hotel for the night. they refused. Eventually, the called the owner. We got the sheet almost middle night! When we booked the hotel, it indicated breakfirst would included. However, we were denied to enter the breakfirst area because the different owners. Since our six families all used the same platform to book the hotel, and the only contact information was the hotel, how a visitors could know there were different owners for different rooms?
