Madam Silve Café is a hidden gem and one of the coziest spots we discovered during our trip. It’s a cute, family-run café that specializes in Turkish and Bulgarian breakfast, with a strong focus on freshly made bakery items—and let me tell you, everything tasted homemade and full of love.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a charming, homey vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned. We ordered a traditional breakfast and some pastries, and everything was delicious—especially the bakery items, which were fresh out of the oven. The coffee was also surprisingly good, with a nice selection of other drinks available as well.

What made the experience truly special was the lovely family who runs the place. They were incredibly kind and friendly, and we even had a small chat with them while they were preparing our food. It honestly felt like we were visiting someone’s home rather than just a café.

If you’re looking for an authentic, heartwarming breakfast experience with a personal touch, Madam Silve Café is the perfect choice. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts—and we’ll definitely come back next time...

This is my favourite place in Plovdiv. We moved into the city a few years ago and it took us a while to find our coffee shop, until a friend recommended Madame Silve. We come here 4-5 times a week, the owners are extremely friendly, the coffee is amazing.

Their selection of baked goods is very special and unique, it's all baked by them in house. It's the only German-style bakery in the city where you can find all kinds of croissants and different baked goods like cinnamon rolls (unlike the normal banitza places which sell the same thing in ten different presentations).

Madame Silve Café in Plovdiv is a cosy, welcoming place run by a kind local family. Their banitsa is a must-try—crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. We also had mekici, a traditional Bulgarian breakfast, which was soft, warm, and perfect with a bit of jam or cheese.

The café feels cozy and relaxed, like you’re visiting someone’s home. The pastries are fresh, straight from their oven, and the coffee is great too. It’s the kind of spot where you want to slow down and enjoy the morning.
