The takeaway cups are much smaller than the in-store cups, but the price is the same. If you change your mind and get your drink as a takeaway, they’ll go to a corner and pour most into the cup and the rest down the sink. Very rude staff in general. Often get very overwhelmed, frustrated and then mess up orders. On a previous occasion, I bought a chocolate cake, I never got the order, and the staff just argued with me and accused me of lying, and trying to get a free cake. Additionally, they often confuse the drink orders. It’s obvious that the staff had no prior work experience. Very slow service too. On a good day, it’s a 10 minute wait for a coffee. No hot food or savoury food; just bland, gritty hummus (which contains way too much cumin), and dry leftover crusts which they attempt to pass off as crostinis. The banitsas are oily and flavourless. The tastiest sourdough in bread I have ever eaten. Added to that, delicious banitsa and other pastry. Confectioners' corner also worth a look: My favorites are the vegan (gluten free) coconut bonbons but the rest were also good. The cakes are a fine combination of flavors and the owner inevitably takes the time to explain what is lighter/somewhat heavier, what the ingredients are, etc.. Their hummus also tastes divine! The best little bakery in the area, real jem! The artisian sourdough is the best I've found in town so far! The little savery pastry are made with hand made 'filo' layers (the vegan one with cury is deffinatelly worth trying) and the deserts and cakes are all delicisous.
