Yesterday ( 4.10.21) i went to the Hlebar location at Shishman street. I usually love everything there and the attention to detail, but this time i got very disappointed because of the personnel. It was around 19 oclock, so yes, it was a bit of a rush hour, even though i wouldn’t say it was anything too overwhelming. I got a sandwich with minced meat and mozzarella (принцеса с кайма и моцарела) and i asked the lady if she could warm it up for me because it looked very badly, honestly it was as if i made it in the morning and then decided to eat it at 12 at night. She looked at me as if i asked something extraordinary of her. She “warmed up” my sandwich and gave it to me (btw she also decided not to say Hello or Goodbye to me, maybe she just didnt like my mask or something lol). LONG STORY- SHORT sandwich was cold and nasty, it was dry and eating it was a very unpleasant experience because it hurt my whole mouth, but she could have fixed that by warming up my sandwich properly and MAYBE be at least a nice person. Read moreAwesome food - breads, breakfast options (eggs, salmon sandwich with Philadelphia cheese), The Banitsa - Queen of all - try all the varieties, you won't regret it and it's made with cheese, eggs, olive oil, extremely delicious.
The sweet options and thousands of varieties of cakes are absolutely worth it. A bonus - they're so tasty, the calories don't count :D.
Don't forget that Ayriyan is Banitsa's best friend and HleBar offer an extremely delicious one which is not dilluted with water.
If you feel adventurous, check out the bio Boza, which is worth the price.
I read people here complaining about the prices, but the prices are actually normal for the quality of the products this bakery uses to bring the best on the counter.
You also have the option to grab a cup of warm coffee or buy some of the bio products they offer - flour, milk, youghourt, chocolate etc.

Read moreAwful service. The lady at the cash register/barista was so much indifferent to the customers, she didn't hear that I actually ordered a coffee. I had to make another order. I asked whether I can have it in my cup, she said 'yes', I took it out of the bag, put at the counter. The next moment she turns around and gives me my coffee in HER cup. And she made again her indifferent face with glass eyes when I just took back my empty cup. Very expensive. For 2 small waters, small cookies pack for kid and a small fruit puree we paid 18 Lev. Capuchino is 4.5 Lev, I know a place really close with the perfect service where...
