Mi Casa — Restaurant in Sofia City

After being in the city for a month, my husband and I were craving cheeseburgers. We've noticed many of the highly rated burger restaurants in the city have an obsession with stacking the burgers to an impossible height, making eating them an absolute mess to, and they add a bunch of accoutrements that neither of us want. We had hoped Mi Casa's burgers would be different based on pictures. We enjoyed our meals--and my husband in particular found the fries accompanying the meal to be some of his favorites (which is saying something since he doesn't usually like fries). The burgers were still quite tall, so we resorted to eating them with forks & knives. They did allow us to customize them, which was a relief since I truly just wanted a cheeseburger--straight-up, nothing special. The meat was seasoned such that it had a slight taco flavor to me--perhaps cumin? In any case, this was a solid experience with very reasonable prices + outdoor...

I am a very frequent visitor of Mi Casa. It's very cozy place where you feel comfortable and really at home, as its name suggests. The dishesh are very tasty and the menu varies depending on the season and the fresh products that one can find at the market. They always have dishes with fish, when there is fresh fish from the Black sea they offer it. As I am original from Burgas which is on the sea side, I enjoy the local fish dishes. They also offer pizza which is good. I have only observations regarding the pasta, it's difficult for them to prepare it "al dente" and they make strange combinations that I have never found in Italy but this is my personal opinion (and that of a an italian friend of mine). The other people seems to like it so I guess it's OK. The desserts are sublime. The boys and the girls from the staff are really kind and helpful. Overall extremely positive experience and I recommend Mi Casa...

I have been a customer of Mi Casa for many years, and every time I return to Sofia, this is my absolute go-to place. The food is always exceptional — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Whether it’s a light salad, a perfectly cooked pasta, or one of their creative seasonal dishes, everything tastes as if it was made with genuine care and passion.

The atmosphere is cosy and elegant at the same time, and the service is consistently warm, professional, and attentive. It’s rare to find a restaurant that maintains such high standards over the years, but Mi Casa does it effortlessly.
