Today my wife and I ordered two servings of udon at this place. I was very hungry and I wanted to eat this wonderful dish, which I know how it should look and taste, since I have been eating this dish for many years, since I worked in a restaurant with guys from Asia. After an hour of waiting, the courier arrived and I paid 40 leva for two servings. When I went up to my apartment and opened the box with the dish, I immediately realized that this dish could be called anything, but not udon! The color was white!! Where have you seen white udon? I ordered udon with beef, but the beef in udon is put in whole pieces, and this meat was like stew. It tasted like dog food, which I would not eat even for free, in a hungry year. I was so furious that I even took the trouble to go to this establishment (20 minutes by car) and ask them what it was, maybe they brought me a different dish. But the administrator said it was udon. When I asked him if he had ever seen what udon looked like, he started smiling sarcastically, as if I asked him some stupid question. What kind of attitude is this towards people who paid 40 leva for dog food? And this mediocrity also started telling me that udon should be like this! Name your dish differently, or don't cook it at all, but don't disgrace the name of such a dish as udon! I don't advise spending your money here, you will be deceived, you will be dissatisfied, you will waste your money and time! It's better to buy yourself a duner in the cheapest establishment - and you will be more satisfied with your order than in this eatery.
since there is no function to reply to your comment, i will reply below 👇
stupidity is what you cook! Your dish is at least different from the photo you offer on the menu! The photo shows bright udon noodles with various ingredients, but in reality your dish looks pale, instead of udon noodles, you cook pasta. Not only is your recipe different from the real thing, but you can't even make "your" dish tasty. Your dish just tastes like tasteless grass. Your dish can't cost 20 leva - because it's impossible to eat! You don't accept healthy criticism, since many people before me wrote comments that your food tastes like cheap fast food. But your high price can only be justified by expensive rent in the city center. Of course, I didn't want to solve anything with your stupid administrator, because what you cook and your attitude towards customers is an insult a priori. I have the right to express my opinion to you about your animal food, since I paid money for this “cattle food”, spent my time and...
Read moreThe 3 stars are for the ok tasty food (nothing out of this world, especially if you have lived in Asia). Service was quick too, but wouldn't call it professional. You basically pay 8lv for either rice or noodles with eggs and imposed by them cabbage with tiny bit of carrots and some bean sprouts. From there anything you wish to add will be extra unlike any other wok place around the world where you have 4 steps and at least 1 ingredient of each of these steps is indeed included in the total price. So, for a box of noodles (a small one for a big guy, but an ok size for a small lady) or rice with chicken, some sauce, some veggies and some topping you can expect to pay about 20lv (10 euro). That is a very steep price for the quantity ordered. I'd say - I might repeat the visit, but it will most likely be in the far future and not as a first option for...
Read moreStepping foot into Wok to Walk for the first time was an absolute delight. The staff there are nothing short of rockstars. After a delayed flight into Sofia, my brothers and I were in desperate need of a quick bite to eat, and with only 30 minutes left before closing time, the team at Wok to Walk graciously whipped up some truly stunning stir-fry dishes for us. The speed at which they served us was nothing short of lightning quick.
I was pleasantly taken aback by the quality of the ingredients used in our meals. They were of an exceptionally high standard and cooked to perfection. It's safe to say that Wok to Walk has set the bar high for stir-fry experiences. Cheers to the fantastic team for their outstanding service and...
