Един от най-емблематичните и централни площади в сърцето на града. В миналото площадът се е наричал "Коручешме", защото на него имало извор, разположен под сянката на вековни дървета. Днес площадът е заобиколен от редица забележителности – едноименния катедрален храм, Богословския факултет, Софийската митрополия, хотел Шератон и др. Площадът е включен в историко-археологическия резерват в центъра на София "Сердика – Средец". Историческите свидетелства показват, че площад „Света Неделя“ е бил важно място от дълбока древност. На територията на площада има многобройни запазени археологически артефакти от римско време. Историците предполагат, че една от големите сгради, чийто останки са намерени на площада, е дворецът на император Константин. Друга голяма намерена сграда при разкопките вероятно са Сердикийските терми. Днес площадът е често място за срещи и посещения от многобройни туристи...
