Café Bar las Cuatro Esquinas — Restaurant in Nerja

Amazing food, coffee and churros. We went twice and got the espresso, croissant sandwich, and 4 Esquinas Sandwich and the churros. Definitely the best churros of our lives haha.

But there was this heavier set server who sort of ruined the atmosphere of both days. The first day we sat at the bar and it was great until they got really busy. He started slamming dirty plates and cups all around us so the bar guy could wash them. There was one point that we were surround by dirty dishes so very off putting. Luckily we were finished but there was this couple sitting beside us still trying to eat.

Then the second day we sat in his table unfortunately. He was very rude and got our whole order wrong. We asked for double espressos and got singles. Great cafe/bar to visit at anytime of day, churros is a speciality at breakfast or around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, they are traditionally served with hot chocolate at this time, this is known as Merienda, I stopped for breakfast this morning, 27th August 2020, I ordered a Pitufo, this is a small baguette, they half it and lightly toast it, I asked for tómate con aceite ( tomato and olive oil) on one half, the other half I asked for mantequilla y mermelada (butter and jam) you are served the components and you put it on the bread yourself, I also ordered a café con leche en vaso (coffee with milk served in a glass) all of this cost me 2 euro 60 cents, I gave a tip of 25 cents and went on my way a very...

Coffee was the best out of all the rest. Me and my family , we ordered classical Spanish breakfast: bread with fresh tomato sauce and olive oil. I was surprised tomato wasn’t fresh at all. It had a very acidic taste like there was vinegar added. Our waiter told us it has olive oil and salt added. But why to add it if we are given salt and olive oil to add to the bread ? I love Spanish breakfast specifically for the fresh tomato. Also, we ordered fresh orange juice which is also classic to Spanish breakfast.
