Digby's Phnom Penh — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

We were interested in the Christmas Feast that Digby's served on the 24th & 25th of December 2021. The difference between the lunch menu and supper menu was quite a surprise, but we thought it would be that much more special. We made reservations and showed up on time. We waited quite a while for someone to come show us to our table. Half of us went for the $38 Christmas feast (one turkey and the other salmon). The turkey order was for dark meat exclusively (this was told in English and once again in Khmer to be clear). The other two ordered The Works Burger and the European Sausage Plate. We had ordered a couple glasses of wine and a smoothie, but no one thought to ask what the last guest wanted to drink. After a while we sent someone to request water for our table. Then the wine arrived and the smoothie and we were thinking it was going to be a night like no other. Shortly the burger arrived and that guest began picking at the food as it isn't really polite to eat by yourself. We sent someone to ask where the soup course was for the two who had opted for the Christmas feast. Fifteen minutes later the sausages arrived, and those two guests began to eat awkwardly as the other two sat there with nothing in front of them. Forty-five minutes after we ordered, we spoke to the manager, and asked that the soup get to the table post haste. Fifteen minutes later the salad arrived, and the two guests could start. After their first bite, the soup arrived with the main dish right behind it. Strange that the salad was salmon and the main was salmon. I looked at the serving size and was glad we had not opted to pay so much for so little. By the time they got to their main dishes, they had cooled off and were definitely less tasty (OH, the turkey was white meat, not dark as ordered). The two who had ordered the special feast were talking about the dessert that was mentioned on the menu. They were shocked to find oranges slices, dragon fruit, fresh pineapple and some durian cake. Excellent Restaurant in the middle of the BKK district of Phnom Penh. I tried it due to recommendation from another visitor, the breakfast came highly recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. Usually the food doesn't look as good as the pictures in the menu, here the food looks even better than the pictures. The staff is highly attentive and after a couple days of visiting for breakfast I had the privilege of meeting the owners. They were extremely hospitable to me and suggested other great dishes which Im glad I tried. You must must must try the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza, I've been living in Asia for 6 months and their pizzas are the best Ive had across 4 different countries. Needless to say Im a huge fan of Digby's and will be coming here everytime Im back in Cambodia.

Definitely try the Cheese Omelette or Digby's Big Breakfast.

For Dinner, try the Lamb Chops, or any of the Pizzas, you wont be...

Мы, видимо, попали в неудачный день... До 11 утра в меню только завтрак, для людей которые завтракают плотно (как я) кашки-овсянки и лапша это не вариант вообще. (Фото с меню "завтрак" в посте) Мои товарищи дружно согласились и только мы собрались уходить, как нам принесли "полное меню"🤷🏼‍♀️ Т.к. после 11-00 кормить начинают нормально 🤣 Мы заказали много, ну вот, прям, очень и пробовали друг у дружки, что вкуснее. Опишу, что помню: 🥤Соки фреш очень хороши, хоть в меню написано, что долго ждать из-за качественного отжима, как мне показалось меньше 10 минут. За 3$ ты получаешь фреш из одного типа фрукта, за 3,5$ можно сделать микс хоть из всех фруктов в меню❤️ 🍝паста карбонара (7,50$) со свининой (я попросила добавить рыбу +4$) оказалось,что рыбки кладут совсем уж чуть чуть. Паста сливочная, с насыщенным вкусом, ее оказалось много, не доели 👍 🍤Паста с морепродуктами (около 7,50$) Была суховата, моллюски мелкие, половина раковин была не раскрыта, так что мы с ними не стали мучаться и не доели. 🥪Сендвичи (около 9$) подаются с картофелем фри (кстати, порции большие, наесться можно отлично) вкусно, но мы их не доели, т.к. остальные блюда оказались вкуснее, а мы хотели, чтоб в нас больше влезло 😅 🥗Салат с копчёным лососем - отличный🔥 Соус с кунжутом божественный, мои рецепторы плакали от счастья 🙆🏼‍♀️ 🍔 Вегги бургер и пицца, в порядке. В бургер в хрустящей панировке (нутовая котоеиа как мне показалось), немного розового чего-то (буряка или драгон фрута?!), Сыр красиво расплавился на котлетке. 🍕 Пицца на тонком тесте, немного суховатая, но нам было не принципиально. 🍲 Телятина под сырной подушкой и овощной салат - очень сытно и каллорийно! 🍣 паста из консервы тунца с овощами и картофелем гриль - была пересолена 🙍 вкус вообще был странный, солено - кислый. Без хлеба не смогли есть.

❌🚫 Огорчило то, что при нашем большом заказе, нам ЗАБЫЛИ приготовить пасту из тунца и пиццу. Причем, когда мы делали заказ людей было совсем мало!(( Значит, каждый человек в нашей компании получил по блюду, кушают, а двое сидят и ждут... Ждали 45 минут, не выдержали, спросили официанта и через 15 мин принесли пересоленную пасту тунца и сухую пиццу😔

Пустые тарелки не спешили менять, но рядом был свободный стол, поэтому мы убирали сами😅🤦🏼‍♀️

К 13-00 заведение было полно людьми!😯 Огорчило, что напротив маленький ребенок так сильно плакал, что вызвал мигрень. Ребенка успокаивать у мамы не получилось и в течении 15 минут они, все так же плача, ушли.

😍 Очень понравилась общая атмосфера, стилистика под фабрику и фоновая музыка. В моем родном городе есть похожий ресторан, перестроенный с настоящей фабрики 🤩 Уютное место с привлекательным дизайном...
