This is a brand new hotel that had its soft opening in June 2024. It's not 100% operational, so some floors remain closed, and the executive lounge can't yet serve breakfast. But it should be fully functional very soon. Everything is ready to go.

It is a wonderful addition to Phnom Penh and I had a great stay. The location is great with many wonderful restaurants just beside the hotel. So it's a very convenient base to explore the city. I could see the river and the royal palace from the floor to ceiling glass windows in my room. Nice views.

The deluxe room is large, with ample space to walk around. The bathroom equally large with a nice shower though there is no bathtub. The colour scheme and overall decor of the room is minimalist and pleasant, white and greys, with tinge of blue signifying Novotel, which I loved. The mini bar is well stocked with free tea and instant coffee provided. There is a kettle to boil water. Creamers would have been good addition as some guests may want to drink tea with milk.

They have a reasonably large pool on the 5th floor, a spa as well as a well equipped gym. The gym is small but nicely equipped with all you would need.

Upon check-in, I was offered a queen-size bed as an alternative to my original twin-bed booking — a thoughtful gesture that left a great first impression. The beds were comfortable and neatly made each day. The mini bar was fully stocked, which is convenient for those who prefer to stay in, especially with a convenience store just a stone's throw away. However, it did limit space for my own drinks, and I felt hesitant to request for it to be cleared. The gym facilities were impressive, particularly for a newly opened hotel, and the swimming pool was more than adequate. I didn’t see anyone else using either facility during my stay, which meant I had the entire space to myself — a rare luxury. What I appreciated most was the courteous staff I encountered in the corridors — always acknowledging guests with a smile, something not often seen in other hotels in Phnom Penh. As a new player in the hospitality scene in Phnom Penh but with experience worldwide, I believe this hotel is off to a strong start with a capable management team.
