I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at The Living Room, located within the Rosewood Phnom Penh. This chic and elegant lounge provided a perfect setting for a leisurely midday meal. The Living Room exudes a sophisticated yet comfortable ambiance. The decor is a tasteful blend of modern elegance and classic charm, featuring plush seating, soft lighting, and panoramic views of the city. The serene atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a relaxing lunch.
The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They were quick to provide recommendations and were very accommodating to any special requests. Their knowledge of the menu and attention to detail enhanced the overall dining experience.
The lunch menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, blending local flavors with international cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was elegant. Each bite reflected the high standards of the Rosewood’s culinary team. The Living Room also offers a selection of fine wines and crafted cocktails, perfect for pairing with lunch or simply enjoying on their own. Overall, my lunch at The Living Room was a delightful experience. The combination of the beautiful setting, excellent service, and delicious food made for a memorable meal. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to unwind during lunch or a sophisticated spot for a business meeting, The Living Room is an excellent choice.
I highly recommend The Living Room at Rosewood Phnom Penh for anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience in the heart...

Later we checked the bill carefully, Rosewood Phnom Penh pulled a tricky move:
The waiter said they would waive the $8 shakshuka. Later I checked the bill, we ordered two Americano (Menu $4/each), but they overcharged us as “iced coffee” at $7/each
Rosewood, seriously!?!?
——— We had breakfast at Rosewood Living Room on Sep 25, 2025 at ~10:15am.
1/ shakshuka - bland mess no spice, no sauce flavor, not even salt. And instead of proper sourdough or baguette, they served a nutty flatbread that felt cheap and wrong for the dish
2/ air conditioner hygiene - completely covered in mold, dripping water even directly onto our table
When I raised this to the waiter, all he said was “thank you.”
After talking with a woman in a suit, he came back with an excuse that the air conditioner was “under maintenance” and that the room was 29.5°C.
Honestly, the waiter’s response and that explanation was laughable.
Mold like that doesn’t appear overnight it shows a long-term neglect of hygiene, and maintenance indeed, instead of “under maintenance”
For a so-called luxury hotel restaurant in Cambodia Rosewood with bad foods and a mold-infested dining room, it doesn’t meet other Rosewood hotel standards...
Read moreWent for afternoon tea at the Living Room at the Rosewood Hotel in Phnom Penh. Cost around US $34 per head. Pros: beautiful and cute presentation, stunning views, really delicious well made scones. Cons: tiny portions for the price so definitely not value for money; not enough balance between sweet and savoury dishes and no tea sandwiches included, we had to order separately; slow service worsened by servers with zero knowledge of how afternoon tea is served. Milk and sugar wasn't served. No stirring spoons. Tea and coffee served cold. Took a half hour for the bill because apparently servers were down. Inattentive and disinterested staff. For a luxury hotel, one expects a certain level of gastronomic knowledge and service. There should be a difference between a $10 and $34 afternoon tea. Sad that the Rosewood in Cambodia isn't able to keep up the same level it has around the world. Hope it improves, they're lucky they have such a gorgeous setting people will keep wanting to return to. The dining experience...
