A Home Away from Home for Pure Veg Indian Food! From the moment we stepped into Modi Ji Restaurant, we felt at home. The warm hospitality and comforting ambiance made us feel welcome instantly. Finding pure vegetarian, vegan, and Jain food in Siem Reap isn’t easy, but this place was an absolute lifesaver. We originally carried food packets with us, thinking we'd struggle to find good vegetarian options. But after trying Modi Ji on our first night, we couldn’t resist coming back everyday, we ended up dining here all five nights of our stay! The food was simply amazing, we tried the Gujarati Thali, Sev Tameta, Khichdi Kadhi, and Dal Bati, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and truly felt like home-cooked comfort food. The location is super convenient, just near Pub Street, making it a perfect stop after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Laxman Bhai, the manager, whose hospitality made our visits even more enjoyable. And a heartfelt thanks to the owner, whose goal is not to earn hefty profits but to genuinely help people struggling to find vegetarian food in Siem Reap—that kind of kindness is rare. The little touches made all the difference too—we were pleasantly surprised with free water and laddus, which added to the homely experience. If you’re in Siem Reap and craving delicious, authentic, pure vegetarian Indian food or Jain food, don’t think twice Modi Ji Restaurant is the place to be!

A Vegetarian Oasis in the Temple town (Siem Reap) — Our Culinary Saviour for Three Days! As a passionate foodie and a vegetarian, finding a pure vegetarian restaurant in a new city can be a challenge — but discovering this gem was like striking gold. It’s the only fully vegetarian hotel in the city; and for three days, it became our sanctuary of flavor, comfort, and warm hospitality. Every meal we explored here was a delight. The variety and consistency were outstanding. Each dish carried the unmistakable stamp of care — flavorful, authentic, and satisfying. The staff (Lakshman, Kishore bhai, Janak and Seda) deserve all the praise. Their courteousness, attentiveness, and warmth made it even more enjoyable. For three days, this restaurant didn’t just feed us — it nourished us. It was our safe haven and a reminder of how incredible vegetarian food can be when made with love and skill. I truly can’t recommend it enough to fellow vegetarians and anyone looking for honest, delicious food served with heart in Siem Reap. A special mention goes to Harish Bhai, whose own struggles in finding vegetarian food while traveling inspired him to pioneer this haven for fellow vegetarian travellers.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This pure vegetarian Indian gem in Siem Reap deserves a 110/100. The food quality is simply superb – each dish bursts with authentic flavors that remind you of home. From the freshness of the ingredients to the perfect balance of spices, it’s clear the chefs here put their heart into the food. A big thanks to the management for being so accommodating with all kinds of customizations. Whether you want less spice or a particular flavor tweak, they’re more than happy to oblige, ensuring every customer gets their meal exactly as they like it. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always there with a smile and ready to help, making the experience even better. Hats off to the team for bringing the true taste of India to Cambodia – you’ve created a place that truly feels like home. Highly recommend this place to all vegetarians and anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine!
