I went to this restaurant on 27th December. I was greeted by a pleasant lady. I was offered a table upstairs but waited patiently for a table for 6 downstairs as my wife has a leg injury and could not walk up stairs. While waiting, a table for 6 was given to customers coming after me. I queried with a guy in a pink shirt who I assumed was the manager. I was again offered an upstairs table. I explained my wife's injury , he then said I can leave If I don't want an upstairs table. I should have realised something was not ok at this point in time. I took a few pictures to post a review. I was then manhandled in front of my wife, 2 children and my mother by the manager insisting I delete the photos as he didn't want me to write a review. He called security and continued to rough handle me. The photos were then deleted from my phone. The manager then continued to insult me with racial abuse. He assumed I was Indian and I come from the lowest class and told me I'm dirt and only fit to be under his shoes and swore at me. I'm not Indian. I'm African. The security just stood and did not nothing during the racial abuse. Based on the managers behaviour and racial insults, I will not recommend this restaurant.

This manager should not be working in the hospitality industry. Hope his boss and management reads this post and takes the...

My wife and I recently dined at V Design Restaurant in Siem Reap's vibrant Pub Street, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations!

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and stylish, with a perfect mix of modern design and local charm. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive.

The menu offers a delightful array of dishes, showcasing both traditional Cambodian flavors and innovative twists. I particularly enjoyed Grilled Chicken and Beef Burger, which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor of coconut cream. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and creativity!

Additionally, the drink selection was impressive. I tried Avocado milk shake, and they perfectly complemented my meal.

What really stood out to me was the overall attention to detail, from the decor to the friendly service. It’s evident that the team at V Design Restaurant takes great attention in providing an exceptional dining experience.

If I could give no stars I would...NEVER have I had such TERRIBLE customer service. I was with my 2 friends, 2 of us ordered the veggie burger and the other a beef one. Later 2 burgers came but not the other veggie burger, eventually we had to ask again and they’d forgotten about it. 10 minutes later it arrives, and after a couple bites of the burger I noticed it tasted a little sour. So I informed the waiter and he just looked confused and went to go get a manager. When the manager arrived, I explained that to me the burger tasted sour and I didn’t want to eat it and cancel my order. He said I couldn’t because the veggie burger came from the same batch as my friends and that it was fine. He INSISTED it was fine and that I was basically being fussy. Another manager came and told me that I took ‘too long’ to tell them that it was bad, but I’d barely touched the burger. I then stated if you don’t cancel my order I’ll give this place a terrible review and he said ‘ok’. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Never experienced this kinda of service or rather NO SERVICE. DO...

Worst food that I've had so far in South East Asia. We waited at least 40 minutes for our food, there were dead flies in it as well as flies flying around us or crawling on us the whole time, it's expensive, and tastes like a bunch of mush. I ordered shrimp amok and now I have a phobia of that dish. The only redeeming factors are that the waitresses are kind (though not that good at their job, we asked for chili and never got it, and when we were ready to order they didn't come back to our table for 20 minutes), the decor is nice and that it has a good location if you want to look out onto the street when you eat. Do yourself a favour and don't eat here when there's brilliant restaurants everywhere on Pub Street.

I recently dined at Temple Food n Beverage and had a fantastic experience. The rice with beef was cooked to perfection, and the curry crocodile, with its unique blend of chicken and fish-like texture, was surprisingly delicious. I recommend sitting on the second floor to avoid the local kids begging for food late at night, although the first floor is more visually appealing. Feeding two boys who then shared their meal was a memorable and emotional experience. The staff were pleasant, and the ambiance fit perfectly with the vibrant Pub Street atmosphere. Overall, the food and service were excellent, making it a place worth visiting.
