Pho Yong Restaurant ភោជនីយដ្ឋានហ្វើយ៉ុង — Restaurant in Siem Reap

The last i had was evening. now they open morning which is I am commenting. I beleive they had changed owners entirely. The broth had no more herbs aroma as before. the beef meat given for the pho is the cheap portion cuts with lots of tendons and sparsely 2 slices while most meatballs are bought ready made and tastes the same everywhere. I no longer had the generous slices of beef cuts it once had. 1 star for food. And this stall don’t display a price list. Be careful. 1 star for cheating the prices. Chicken pho wanted $4 and beef “$3”. Chicken is cheap everywhere in Cambodia. I say “$3” is still relatively expensive in a now more prices subdued Siem Reap. Don’t bother, there is a claypot beef pho beside the wat for 10,000 riel which has full table condiments and cleaner too. My advice is, several months ago, they were good....

While waiting for the rain to stop, i stood outside 7-11 and smelt something familiar. I could not believe that familiar Pho herb aroma only I can find in Phnom Penh. So I waited for later evening and went for it. It was really very good Pho soup broth, lots of beef, that even I could not find in Ho Chi Ming city, those acclaimed tourist shops or stalls in HCM. One bad is the stall only opens in evenings to dawn, but good for late night pub drunks and a bowl of hot broth before they head back to...

Never going back! Pho broth was bland as hell. My partner ordered pork rice and we found a piece of metal scrubber in it. Everything at this place was filthy. Bathroom was disgusting. the Menu had fish sauce and sticky residue, they didn’t even bother to wipe it clean before handing it so us. The table was sticky and chair had food on it, so look...
