Wow! I was looking for a nice dinner on my last night in Siem Reap. Somaha was perfect. I started with a Kuiken Malbec, which was deliciously bold and dry. I don’t usually order steak, but I had to go for the tenderloin. It was amazing! I ordered medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. It was so good, that I barely used any of the Gorgonzola sauce that I selected - I decided just to savor the steak.
I actually used the sauce mostly on the perfectly cooked french fries. They were super crispy on the outside and seasoned just right. Even at the end of the meal, when they were getting a little cold, they never lost their crispiness.
I was really sad to take the last bite of the steak. Really, it was like butter. They have high-quality utensils and the knife just sliced through like butter. Yeah, I liked it!
Highly recommended if you’re in Siem Reap. It’s got a high-end French café vibe. Very nice. Great way to end...
Read moreWouldn't even give this place one star!!! Living on the coat tails of reviews!! Rude staff.. Don't bother if you are a solo traveller..they are not interested in your business. Left waiting outside with a glass of wine after stating they were fully booked. I said I was happy to wait!! They then sat 3 couples whilst I was still waiting who also hadnt booked & then tried to lie to my face and suggested I try somewhere else. I told them quite politely to shove their arrogance & pathetic customer service up their backsides!! Should have just walked away and not bothered paying for the wine but I have morals... There are plenty of other places that are more than welcoming to spend your cash. Pity really as the party of 4 girls that ordered 1 bottle of wine & 2 plates of spring rolls...my bill custom would have been twice the value & less work!!! I would seriously reconsider your...

We had a fantastic dinner at Somaha Restaurant and Wine Bar. Started with the cheese platter, which was well-presented and perfect for sharing. The seabass fillet was cooked beautifully — tender, flaky, and full of flavor — and the prawns with vegetables dish was equally impressive, fresh, and well-seasoned.
The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax over good food and wine. It did get quite busy while we were there, so I’d recommend making a reservation to guarantee a table.
Overall, an excellent dining experience in Siem Reap and one I’d...
