Camelot Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

I visited Camelot for dinner with friends, and while the food and ambiance were good, the experience was completely ruined by the manager’s unprofessional behavior. When we decided to move to the rooftop, we were told there was a minimum charge, and that our current bill wouldn’t be included. Rather than offering any assistance or working with us to resolve the issue, the manager was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful.

This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and left us feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. It’s disappointing that a restaurant with such potential would have a manager who clearly doesn’t understand the basics of customer service.

Good food and great ambiance. The entire restaurant is lovely and the upstairs outdoor space is really nice and inviting.

The service is very good and the wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

The food was pretty good but the portions were a little lacking for the price in my opinion. The rib eye steak was juicy and tasted good. I ordered it rare but it was much closer to medium when served but I understand since it is really hard to cook a really thin steak correctly. The salmon was good and my kid finished everything. My wife had the unlimited muscles and she enjoyed them which was actually good value for money.

They accept Entertainer which is a plus and then makes the smaller portion sizes good value.

Been to Camelot before and was a good experience, however, the experience going back to the rooftop for dinner (Managed by JJs) was terrible. We ordered burgers highlighted to be ‘Make your own’ and waited patiently for 40 minutes (The rooftop was empty). The waiter comes back with the wrong order and cold buns. We returned these and received microwaved burgers and the wrong order order once again. The waiter then tells us that the oven isn’t working properly and tells us the manager is away. We find the manager downstairs who doesn’t know about any of this. Overall, was definitely not worth the money and would definitely not recommend the burger unless you want to go home really sad.
