Bogey's Pub & Pizza — Restaurant in Airdrie

Not very welcoming what so ever, the bartender didn’t even ask me what I wanted. She just gave me dirty looks. I had to confront her and tell her what i wanted to drink. Then I I sat at the vlt’s played $5 only because there was a bad vibe. Seems very clique! This has happed to me there on more then one occasion. Sorry Bogey’s but it’s the truth and it’s sad that this is my first bad review I have given! Can’t say I will ever go back.

I 100% agree that it is unfortunate it in these times I had to give such a bad review and I apologize for that but I don't control Google Maps when a review request pops up. Which was the why it might have been posted late during covid shutdown. Just by your lack of remorseful response you have sealed and confirmed my thoughts about your establishment. I would not and definitely won't be recommending any of my family or friends there.

In case anyone is wondering about my last paragraph, it was my reply to the response I recieved from Bogeys in regards to my review. I guess they have deleted their comment. Which is great considering one should not get angry over a bad review. How do you know what is wrong if people dont speak up? You cant gix it if you dont know. You learn from making mistakes also which makes you even more knowledgeable in the end. Which leads to better and bigger achievements. Right? I visited Bogeys with my family on October 27th for a couple of beers and some food. I decided to go throw $20 in the VLT and after sitting down I noticed a funky smell…. I had the urge to get up and look at my chair only to be mortified that I had sat on a chair that had poop smeared all over it. While I can understand it is not the fault of the bartender on duty, the response to this disgusting and mortifying experience was met with laughter, no apology and joking about the incident with the other customers at the bar. I wasn’t offered an apology, concern for me and my experience or anything to make up for sitting in literal feces. The only thing the bartender did was throw the chair out. I had to throw out a $50 pair of leggings in the bathroom and thanked my lucky stars I had my gym bag on me with spare clothes.

Being in the serving industry myself, I was shocked that I wasn’t offered any apology or shown any empathy as if this had happened at the pub I work at I would have been shocked and mortified for my customer.

Additionally we went with empty beers and had to request another round after the bartender walked by our table on multiple times....

I've been there quite a few times. To be honest, the food is always TopShelf. The atmosphere is expected, a neighborhood pub with the same drunk regulars. The layout is fine . Have the games, the pool tables and lotsa tables. The one huge glaring issue which is all the time, especially the night we were there. The service is usually good but they never seem to have enough servers on. We were there for a fundraiser and granted it was probably way busier then usual but you would think the management would consider that when booked the ladies. Our server was great, unfortunately I don't remember her name, my bad, she was trying her best serving way too many tables. Then my only really complaint and it has been said before and it was glaring last time we were there. There is one server, she's quite a bit older then the rest. Her professional approach and her miserable demeanor is absolute BS. She is always a complete ignorant person to many patrons and she would be one person, if she was serving me, I would get up and leave before she was done even asking me for my drinks.
