My first time at this location as I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago so had wanted to try them. Today I was craving breakfast. Ordered bacon & eggs, pretty easy simple straightforward meal asked for eggs scramble dry, bacon crisp. Potatoes were hot and crisp, bacon cold and crisp (which I can live with!) but eggs were done just as I had ordered but COLD. So when my server finally came back to see how my meal was I informed her and she went to have them remade (I didn’t want my whole meal remade as that’s a waste) my server Taryn wasn’t by any means at all pleasant but now I got a strong sense she was ticked (how about some training in dealing with customer concerns!) And her attitude didn’t get any better the rest of the time! I had to ask the young guy serving my newly made eggs (which were hot but now mushy) if he could bring me another strawberry jam as the package I opened was like dried glue and you couldn’t even remove it from the packaging. Not sure why but I waited a long time for Taryn to bring me another jam! I had to ask for a coffee refill as I obviously was not going to get any without requesting it. First and likely last time I will support this location. Very disappointing food quality and unpleasant servers are no reason to return when I have discovered so many great food establishments...

I’m here to tell you about the immovable object of unfazed patience that is their staff.
My wife and I came here for Valentine’s Day 2019. There was this guy sitting ahead of us who would not leave our server alone. I don’t know if he was drunk on booze, toxic masculinity, or both (just kidding it was both), but this guys just wouldn’t give up making moves on our server. I thought she handled it great, as she politely said ‘I’m not interest’, or ‘excuse me in working’ when he would physically get in her way.
I don’t know if it was the manager or shift supervisor that was informed, but let me tell you, she wasn’t going to take any sht from this short man syndromed micro p*. She calmly asked him to leave to which he became belligerent (shocking right?). But this manager still wasn’t having any of this. She ensured this carrot top gym rat was escorted out herself.
I would have given a standing ovation if I wasn’t certain the garbage locals of airdrie that filled the restaurant thought this was a “boys will be boys” scenario.

Read moreWent to this restaurant last night. A group of 10. We frequent their location's in Calgary and Cochran quite often. Always great food and service. Unfortunately last night was probably one of the worst meals I have ever had in a restaurant. I ordered a steak sandwich with fries and mushrooms. Also ordered a side of gravy and coleslaw. I asked for the steak " medium well " and when it arrived at our table it was rare at best and full of grizzle. I didn't want to make a fuss so I let it slide. The garlic toast was stale to the point where you couldn't eat it. The fries were like dried out sticks and after paying extra for mushrooms I think I got one cut so thin you could read through it. The coleslaw was basically shredded cabbage with little or no dressing on it. Now I understand that we're in tuff times and I'm all about supporting local but when a group of people drop well over $300.00 for a meal I would think you should leave with a full belly and a smile. What a shame. And just to add insult to injury when I got home I had to take Gravol for an upset stomach and nearly 24 hours later I'm not feeling any better and still taking Gravol. Probably from the raw beef I guess. Wont ever make that mistake again. Pretty sure I won't be going back...
