McDonald's — Restaurant in Alberta

Absolutely horrible, we wanted mcdonalds last night so we decided to stop on our way home... 2:45am, I tried ordering at the drive-thru microphone, I said I wanted to use a mobile offer, the girl said she was unable to hear me, I repeated myself 3 times and was screaming at the mic and she asked if I wanted a hashbrown when I was trying to use a coupon, persisted she couldn't hear me, asked me to drive up.

Got to the window and I'm still trying to order and she STILL couldn't hear me, I'm a very loud person so clearly it wasn't because I have a soft voice, i literally dont have a soft voice.

My order: Oreo mcflurry regular size Mcdoble value meal ice tea no ice And mc double with bacon.

"Ok," turns to punch it in asks me again what my order is, then says oh we dont have fries for 20 minutes. Pardon? She said they cleaned the fryers so no fries. (Only 1 fryer at a time is to be cleaned, yes I know I worked at mcdonalds but okay.)

Had to modify my order. Regular size oreo mcflurry 1 mcdouble add bacon 2 mcdouble extra onion Medium ice tea NO ICE

Paid for my order, waited 5 minutes, then she asks me to go to the 2nd window. Waited 10 minutes she comes with food, drink, and ice cream. Tells us they dont have oreo, can they offer something else. So we said skor was fine. While we waited another 10 mins for the mcflurry we checked the burgers and one was missing. Opened up the burgers no extra onions, instead and extra patty...one with bacon same thing no bacon extra patty, she came back and I showed her asked for a manager, she informed that she was new it was her first day and the cook was also new and they were the only ones in the store... which is against protocal, shorten the story gave her the chance to fix it again. And they still never got it right 3 times they kept screwing it up... for a new store they seriously need to get their...

It felt like this place was running under different management now. Few months back I would always recommend this location to anyone I know as the burgers were never squished, food were fresh and service was amazing. Recently I had to dine with this location a lot more often because I work extra hours on my job, and food quality went downhill. Customer service was so bad, fountain drink dispenser was down the other day, and my husband finished his drink and wanted to get a refill and they rudely replied there's NO REFILL and treated and looked him as if he was a beggar. It was almost a $40 dinner for two and they can't just give you a refill? This is Canada ! We were absolutely disgusted by their service. Also, they can't seem to understand what "no salt" in a fries is, and they would even argue with you when you tell them the fries you have received has no salt in it even when it looks like a shiny salt bar. And McChicken looked like a junior chicken but who knows, they might just put food to midget size because of inflation and all? I understand it might be a stressful atmosphere as this would be a busy location during the weekends and holidays, but please don't put the rage onto your customers! We all grew up with the joyful and happiness of McDonald's and this is not what we expected. I'm so disappointed in this location I hope the main office sees this! P.S. tried to reach out to the customer service through McDonald's Canada's website and never received a follow up. I will change this review when I receive a proper...

Terrible service. Unless you want to get ripped off, don’t go here. First time I went here, made me wait at the cashier for almost 10 min when there was practically no other customers while I watch the kitchen staff chat with each other and others just standing around. I ordered double cheeseburger but when I came home, it turned out to be just a basic burger. Way to pay more only to get something way cheaper eh. It was my fault for not checking AND for trusting the staff to actually do their job properly.

Second time, I thought drive thru would be better so my family wouldn’t have to wait at the register for almost 10 minutes. Another mistake. We ordered 4 burgers, when the lady on the other end said the total I was skeptical that they actually rang in 3 burgers instead of 4 so when we mentioned it at the till, we were right, so she corrected the quantity, but then she said the total and it was way higher than it should’ve been. We asked her again if it’s 4 burgers, just the sandwich she said yes so we paid. We asked for receipt she said it will be with the order, we were asked to go to the reserved parking. When our order came the manager left right away so we had no chance to check if everything was good. There was no receipt to check if what we paid for was actually correct but I guarantee that 4 basic burgers won’t total to almost 10 bucks.

So, unless you want to pay extra cash for sh*t service and for rip off employees, just go to the mall and get something there instead of here....
