Malones Pint House in Barrie is one of those places that never disappoints when you’re looking for a casual yet lively spot to enjoy great food and drinks. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between a neighborhood pub and a sports bar, making it a great choice whether you’re out with friends, catching the game, or just in the mood for a laid-back night out.

One of the true standouts here is the wings—without question, some of the best in Barrie. They come out hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside, with a wide variety of sauces and flavors that cater to every taste. Whether you like them sweet, spicy, tangy, or smoky, Malones delivers. They don’t skimp on portion sizes either, which makes sharing around the table a fun experience.

Beyond the wings, the menu has plenty of solid pub fare options—burgers, nachos, and other comfort food favorites that are hearty and satisfying. Pairing all this with their extensive beer list, including both local brews and popular classics, only adds to the experience.

The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes a huge difference. All in all, Malones Pint House is a Barrie gem and easily one of the top go-to spots in town for wings, drinks, and...

I’d heard great things about the “huge wings” from a friend, but unfortunately I have nothing good to say about our experience here. Had the service not been laughably poor, we could have maybe salvaged some of our night, but our waitress was slow, forgot our drinks (or was just so slow we never got half of them?), and wasn’t at all personable; the worst was when we politely complained about the one order of wings hoping to get a replacement, and she was unwilling to rectify the issue. We were here for almost two hours due to the wait to order, and for food, for just 4 orders of wings; if it was busy I would understand, but there were only a few other tables. Aside from the service, the hot & Thai wings were okay, but the other flavours (creamy dill and spicy garlic parm) were so gross we couldn’t eat them - the dill tasted like nothing more than soggy breading, and the “spicy garlic parm” was literally just rolled in Parmesan cheese and didn’t have anything else to it. We couldn’t believe the price for what we got, as we left hungry. Won’t...

After months of waiting for this specific bar to reopen we just left super disappointed. Food was good but service was terrible. Our server didn’t even greet us when we got to the table because she was arguing with another coworker over us to after just leave us waiting for 45 minutes until we had to ask for when our food was going to be ready. When we finished our dinner she didn’t even ask if we wanted something else and just offered our bill. I do understand that reopening can be a little bit overwhelming I’m a server my self and I don’t really care if I have to wait a little bit longer as long as I’m notified of the issue but being looked at like I’m complaining for nothing is just disrespectful and makes me not want to come back ever again. She did ask if we wanted more drinks several times but when we wanted to ask what was happening with our food she was long gone, it was like she didn’t even want to be there. I really hope that this issue it’s just a problem of getting used to being back to "normal". Best of luck in this...

LOVE Malone's. We go for the Sunday Jam (every Sunday 4-8pm) as the hub is a musician and we are friends with the Pint House Band, but it's the whole package that makes Malone's what it is. The servers smile and chat. The food is great. Music is (of course) fabulous. Patrons are happy and in good moods. The jammers provide the house with a variety of musical styles and, if there's no room inside, the patio is huge. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram, because their social media is, by far, the best and most organized I've ever seen. Your night at a glance, all laid out. Very concise and professional. This place is well run and well loved by us locals ❤️ NOTE: It also must be said that Malone's values musicians and pays them properly and fairly. This is not consistent throughout Barrie, unfortunately, so it is definitely something worth passing on. Thank you, Malone's!!!!

My brother Shaun recommended I try their Burgers and fries. The burger was incredible and the generous portion of fresh cut fries was great. And another visit, this time we each got the special, A Pint and a Pound of wings. The cider I had was cold Strongbow, with a pound of the garlic parmesan wings. While the wings were slightly overcooked, it was great and I'd order them again. (and again) Shaun ordered us a German pretzel to start, and they serve it piping hot and crusted with salt, accompanied by some zesty cheese sauce that could double as Queso for tortilla chips easily. The pretzel was fantastic and reminded us of German breweries and beer houses that we'd visited in the past. We ordered some fresh cut fries for takeaway, and i quite enjoyed them.

Just stopped for a late lunch here as I was craving a burger. Hearing from a friend that Malone's is the only place by the Barrie waterfront for my craving to be fulfilled, I came with high expectations. And I was not disappointed! From the delicious Canadian Eh burger with actual in-house cut fries to the crisp pint of 3 Speed (hard to find on draught around these parts), everything was immaculate. Sam was incredibly bubbly and fun and had my beer and food in front of me in no time at all. Asha is always a great time, an absolute pleasure to be around. A real neighborhood pub with real good food, amazing beer and at a very good price, what more do you want?
