Honestly this used to be my regular tims sad too as almost been going to this one for a 3 year period but haven't been more then 5 times this year...... and yet used to be there almost daily the years prior.... they've changed out staff and either the new owners or new management whichever it may be has either given up or doesn't care as the old employees used to take there job seriously, respect every customer to the point they had me and my partner memorized to the point we came in and they were starting our coffees before I even ordered them it honestly was one of the best tims I've ever been to, the other two being the 2 on bayfield. I feel it could be an issue of employees and even tho I'd like to say it's not a race thing as I definitely don't want to be taken as racist but I find it's the same as upper bayfield kinda.... Upper bayfield replaced alot of there tenures with inexperienced college kids and teens as almost always a bunch of kids running bayfield and it's normally mixed race but there youth makes the location not as good as it was but hey they still manage but the staff here have all been replaced as it used to be a bunch of sweet older ladies with a couple younger but mature ladies had no issues understanding what I was saying or ordering as I'm sorry if someone finds this rude but I feel if you don't speak or atleast be 100% bilingual English meaning no English issues then stay out of customer service or any job involving customer interaction..... apply for baker or cleaner not cashier or drivethru..... as either or requires you to understand the English menus..... and understand the English customers.... I honestly thought that is where the issues with coffee is but nope I find non Canadians don't appreciate or respect canadian coffee as every tims I go to that doesn't have atleast one full English speaking manager that unfortunately the coffee tastes like dirty water.... how the heck do you water down coffee so much that it taste dirty or even more of a concern is are they even cleaning? I get that some countries food standards are lax but if you come to Canada we have expectations and standards some of which are clearly either being overlooked or not followed the minute someone is not there to tell them otherwise as again like I said in the beginning I have tried to test this theory by visiting multiple places and didn't want to put this to race and its not easy to say this as didn't want to put this to race but any mixed race tims works and operates fine and is hit or miss if good or not, a tims with all tenure employees is almost always a really good tims... I've slowly lost one of those I'd say atleast once a year and now only have 2 tims I trust and both also have there issues or are having there employees mistreated specifically the tenure ones as not sure if it's corporate or management of each location but it seems tims doesn't want long lasting employees and any tims that resembles that with an entire new staff is garbage as this and the tims I worked at as a young adult years and years ago are completely non english well 80% to 90% non English so not only is there communication issues but I'm stating the most issues I've experienced is the tims that replace the Canadians.... it's a Canadian coffee company why remove the Canadians and yes I know tims was bought out but idc it was originally a Canadian coffee as us Canadians like our coffee a certain way and when it decides our whole day's mood don't be messing with it as then you mess with our mental states and our lives as alot of Canadians depend on coffee to operate and get up each day and do our jobs and boy is it annoying to get your coffee made wrong and even worse still to be told your wrong or gotten snarky with just because you ask kindly to please have a correctly made coffee and like I said certain standards are not common ground across every country even tho I feel food standards should be across the board alot of countries actually have lower food standards.... keep the managers Canadian so that there is no...
Read moreI have been going to the Tim Horton's at 80 Bradford Street in Barrie for two years now. For the longest time it was my favourite Timmy's for breakfast - fast, friendly and accurate service. For the last two months, I have had a lot of issue's regarding my orders. They just can't seem to get it right. I do not say anything, I usually take my food and just deal with it, A few weeks ago, I went for my usual Medium Dark Roast with two creams and a simply sausage breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, I got the sandwich which was fine, but immediately noticed the coffee did not have cream in it, but it had only milk. I told the lady, she took it back and gave me another coffee. Then I checked that one and asked her "is this a dark roast with two creams?" she said no, it was a regular blend (not dark roast) with two creams. I said I ordered a Medium Dark Roast with two creams, she then sighed and got me another coffee. The third coffee was correct, but the server really put me off by saying "You happy now?" with a snarky tone. Am I happy it took three tries to get my order right? not really. Am I happy you are being rude to me even though you made the mistake? No not really - I wish it was right on the first try. Really, our exchange stuck with me, left me feeling really disrespected. That is why I am writing this review today - because that exchange and her snarky "You happy now?"
This morning went thru drive thru ordered my Med Dark Roast with two creams and a simple sausage on a biscuit. Got to work to discover my sandwich was an egg and sausage on an English muffin. I do not like eggs or english muffins - $5 down the drain. I continue to be disappointed and frankly, too put off to discuss it with them because of the poor attitude you receive when you do. I think its time to start buying breakfast elsewhere. I'm too afraid that they will see this post, remember me from my usual order and spit in my coffee or sandwich in future. Sad to have to let my timmy's...
Read moreDo NOT go here after 5:00 pm. I usually come here every morning before work and they are great. However, the last (and only) 3 times I have stopped by after work, it is horrendous. There has only been one person working, and that would be fine since I know it isnt a busy time, but this person has no idea what they are doing and are extremely poorly trained. I have to repeat my very simple order a few times.I ordered a chicken habanero bowl and a small drink. I waited about 10 min, there was no one in-front of me. She came to the window and proceeded to give me a wrap. I told her I ordered a bowl and had repeated it twice, but since there was now a lineup in the drivethru, I said it was fine and Ill just have the wrap. She then proceeded to try and give me a coffee, which I hadnt ordered. She gave me my proper drink and said $17. (Cant remember the change). I said for a small drink and wrap?? Thats not what I usually pay, she said yes. Again ppl were lining up behind me, so I just paid and left. When I opened my habanero chicken wrap (supposed to be a bowl) there was literally two pieces of crispy chicken and lettuce and sauce thrown together. This wrap is supposed to have rice, and cucumber and tomatoes and jalapenos, etc!! When I just checked this pricing on the ap it should have been at LEAST $4.00 cheaper.
Again, this has happened numerous times at this location after 5 pm. If you’re going to only have one person working, make sure they know what they...
