If you're on the hunt for a delightful escape into the realm of frozen treats, look no further than Dairy Queen on Bradford St in Barrie. My recent visit there was nothing short of enchanting!
As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by a vibrant atmosphere, thanks to the friendly staff and the mouthwatering scent of freshly made ice cream cakes. The selection of flavors they have is simply mind-blowing. Whether you’re a fan of classic favorites like Burgers and Blizzards or feeling adventurous with options like Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard, there’s something to tickle everyone’s taste buds.
What really stood out to me was the quality of their Blizzard. It’s creamy, rich, and packed with flavor, making it clear they use only top-notch ingredients. Plus, if you’re dairy-free or vegan, they’ve got options that are just as creamy and delicious.
The service was top-notch as well. The staff was not only friendly but also super knowledgeable, eager to share recommendations and generous with samples to help me discover my new favorite flavor.
Whether you’re treating yourself to a little solo indulgence or bringing the whole family for a sweet outing, Dairy Queen on Bradford Street in Barrie is the place to be. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
All in all, my experience at Dairy Queen on Bradford Street was outstanding. It’s not just about ice cream—it’s an experience that leaves you grinning and already dreaming about...
Read moreordered two grape slushies from here around 4pm. their machine was empty and it took them almost 8 minutes to change the box of mix, should have only taken about 30 seconds. its very simple. because the mix was empty when they tried to make the one slushie, it was not mixed properly. the larger woman behind the counter then tried to give me a half mixed drink that I just paid 5 dollars for, so I asked her to remake it. her and the other young kid working there snipped back at me and told me rudely that it's fine and there is nothing wrong with it.
there were 3 staff here with no one in the restaurant. the line was disgusting, the walls were disgusting, the ice cream line was disgusting as well as the inserts for the toppings and the line fridge doors. and the staff were very immature and slow.
IF THE RESTARAUNT IS EMPTY, REFILL, RESTOCK, AND CLEAN. its quite simple and is the most basic thing to understand in the hospitality industry. if you have time to lean, you got time to clean. get it together.
Debating on calling head office to complain, because I know nothing will get done from this review.
My advice to anyone reading this, is to go to another DQ, as this one is staffed with immature kids who do not care about what they are doing and take no pride in what they are giving to paying customers.
Won't be ordering here if I see these particular...
Read moreThe burger had too much mayo and ketchup. They gushed out the back on the first bite. The onion and lettuce fell out right after. Fries were dry but at least they were hot. The bottomless pop sort of helped. I got up to use the bathroom and staff peeled around the corner to make sure I wasn’t stealing anything from their freezer that shares the same hallway. I’m poor but I’m not stupid.
The space is cozy and the a/c was refreshing. But the tables are too big and awkwardly placed. Since when does DQ ask for tips at the register? On top of already overpriced combos that aren’t even well made?? Wished I hadn’t left a tip by the end of my visit.
Plus the bathroom floor was wet and sticky, the toilet had some kind of slime around the base, and the garbage was overflowing. Considering there were maybe five staff huddled in the corner behind the counter, it doesn’t make sense why the bathroom was so gross. If I’d gone to the bathroom before ordering I wouldn’t have stayed to eat. What does the kitchen look like? Maybe like their sloppy burgers.
At the end of the day I spent $22 on a badly made meal. It’s hard to mess up a cone - at least that was fine, if...
