Absolutely the Worst Customer Experience
I placed a mobile order through the Uber Eats app for two subs and walked into the restaurant just 5 minutes later to check on itāonly to be met with complete shock. The person who turned out to be the manager told me they werenāt planning to start my order for another 45 minutes!
I was stunned. I asked if someone walking in to order at the counter would be made to wait that long. He replied, āNot for walk-ins.ā Apparently, they can just manipulate the Uber pickup time however they like.
I explained that Uberās policy is to have pickup orders ready in about 15 minutes max. He got defensive and threatened to cancel my order just because I asked for my food to be prepared in a reasonable timeāwhile the store was completely empty.
He clearly didnāt care. When I said Iād report the issue to Uber, he threatened to call the police on meājust because I was upset and frustrated while demanding the food I had paid for within reasonable time because delaying or cancelling the order would leave me without lunch and out of pocket until a refund processes within 24hrs. Then, without another word, he immediately cancelled my order.
So much for ācustomer firstā careāthis was the rudest and most dismissive service Iāve ever experienced. Who makes a customer wait 45 minutes for a sandwich and responds to a complaint...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am not one to write reviews nor am I someone who usually complains. What I saw today when I went earlier was absolutely atrocious. The number of possible health violations was astounding.
When we first arrived everything seemed alright -- Employee A was fixing up new bread and we were served by Employee B. He was a bit gruff, and a bit rude but we all have those days so I ignored that.
When we started ordering he grabbed our bread and put it directly on the counter (no paper in sight). After requesting a certain cut we asked if we could have the cheese on the top -- he then put the cheese directly on the counter. After we got the topping chosen he then complained he wouldn't be able to close it -- even though it was eventually closed.
We were then cashed out by a child, who looked no older than 12/13. As we were leaving we saw them wipe the counter with a dirty dishcloth for the next customer.
I should have refused the sub when it was first made but that is on me. I don't know how this location hasn't closed if that is how they usually work things. I am disgusted and confused about everything that happened and the fact they have a...

After ordering and proceeded to cash the male employee was yapping on the phone ignoring me. Once the female finished making the male that was behind me order she came to the cash. She did not know how to enter my phone number for the rewards program and said I had to wait until the male was finished on the phone. He then abruptly told whomever he was talking to that he had to go. He then proceeded to tell me I needed the rewards code and that he would not do it with my phone number. Had a problem logging into my account on my phone and he getting very impatient with me. Once I was able to log in he entered the number without even speaking to me. Never said thank you or anything. This is the first time they have never been able to use my phone number which is very strange as they do not scan the rewards card, it has been manually entered. Will more than likely bypass this establishment on my trip through...
